Tell me your fun weekend plans

DS has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon and I have to go grocery shopping. Aside from that I intend on spending as much time as possible in my pajamas.

Anyone doing anything fun???

3-day weekend As usual, a huge list of things that I've planned to do around the house but about 5% of it will get done. Stupid comfortable couch...

Buying a new car on Monday! It's a holiday and therefore counts as the weekend. Also, telling both families on Sunday. Will be interesting as I am currently not on speaking terms with my soon to be ex step father.

I'm out of town this weekend to see family and am not super pumped about the drive and not sleeping in my own bed. BUT my in-laws are out of the state currently, so I won't have to see them which makes the weekend a hands-down win all the same.

We were suppose to be going to celebrate my dad's birthday but DS has a cold and we decided to opt out for that reason. My mom is having knee surgery on Monday and we can not risk her catching his cold.

DH is chaperoning a trip of his college students to Chicago to go to a play. I'm going along because...free hotel room!! We are taking Amtrak in, and DD is super excited. We only have 23 hours in the city, but I'm hoping to do their Children's Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. Then Monday is off, so I'm going to take that time to finally buy bigger bras.

Busy busy weekend over here! Tonight I'm going shopping and to dinner with my (future) MIL and mini me for some maternity clothes. She is a District manager at motherhood maternity and gets an insane discount, and is insisting on taking me shopping. Oh darn, okay, I'll let ya

Saturday I'm going with my MOH to a big bridal show downtown, and then going with FI to look at a new venue (fingers crossed!)

Sunday is the NFC championship game (GO SEAHAWKS!) so my friend is coming over with her little boy and we'll let the kids run around like maniacs while we stuff our face with nachos and hot wings.

I also have to fit grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, and some quality time with DD somewhere in there too. I need a 3 day weekend!

So tonight we are going to this place that makes fried funeral potatoes.It's a Utah thing but they are amazing. Then tomorrow shopping and lunch with MIL, bowling date night with some ladies from my charity group. I'm pretty excited because it's the first time I've felt up to doing anything for a while.

I have to return some new pants I bought that were too tight (even though same size different style were perfect *shakes fist*. Other than that cleaning out DH's office so that we can setup the changer and next week the crib that my mother already purchased and had sent to us. She wants pictures ASAP, which means putting all this together WAY before we expected to. Oh well.

Might take down the Christmas decorations, that is about it on my plans for the weekend.

I am going to Bonefish Grill on Saturday for dinner. I'm pretty excited about that. But our reservations aren't until 7. SEVEN! I will have to have a small snack, but must save room for bang bang shrimp and all the bread. My parents are watching DS that night too so I get to SLEEP IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that I plan on being a potato on the couch

Hmm we should probably do that too. I normally love ChristmasTime, this year I just couldn't get into it. Homesick I guess (we are a 24hr drive from home and can't make it back most years because omg expensive.). Definitely time to take that stuff down.

We are taking down our christmas tree and outside lights . I also need to grocery shop and clean my house, like really clean. I thought about taking DD to the movie theater, but I don't know if that will happen. We are going to church for a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night. I don't really want to go, but it is a meal i don't have to cook or clean up after, so I am in. Maybe I will finish unpacking our Christmas suitcases and fold the mountain of laundry while catching up on all the TV I missed because I have been going to bed at 8:30. So, it will be a super exciting 3 days!

I gots to work this weekend. With my husband out of town and contractors in my basement (and goofing on the internet), I've been so unproductive. The project I've been working on is just not getting done. Fortunately, I've had someone offer to help me out (he needs the hours), so I'll at least have someone to be accountable to. So, I'll be working from a coffee shop this weekend, and probably coming in on monday.

Upside: I will be wearing jeans to the office, and I don't care who knows about it!!!

Sorry you were feeling homesick this Christmas.  We decided to stay home too because you're damn right it's expensive.  The in-laws did come to celebrate with us which was . . . a mixed blessing.  

I will say . . . watching my boy come downstairs on Christmas morning to all the presents was magical.

Since this will be our first baby I can't wait for that time of year/life. To see his/her little face light up.

Tonight we're getting sushi for dinner (for anyone who cares I only personally eat cooked rolls, and I like to live on the wild side or something). Hoping I'm not too nauseous to enjoy it. Tomorrow DD1 has dance rehearsal and then I'm going to a sorority sister's baby shower. And then Sunday DD1 has her first dance performance of the year. It is probably going to be a disaster (4&5 year olds) but they try hard and they're cute!

Tonight we'll be doing our Costco and Target trips. Tomorrow is the farmer's market (oh, TX, I will miss your all year growing season when we leave) and grocery shopping. I think it's something I will miss when H and I can't do it together any more. We have a lot of fun in the grocery store.

For some reason I think I want sushi (which is really an excuse for tempura for me), which is weird because I'm not a huge fan.

I have our Christmas stuff down, but now I have to put it away, which I've been procrastinating all week.

So a lot of times they are called Mormon Funeral Potatoes because the mormon's being them to potlucks A LOT. They are normally hash browns or cubed potatoes with cheese, spices, onion, and then corn flakes or crushed potato chips. They are amazing though.

Pathfinder. I'm playing an archaeologist right now (kind of a rogue/bard). We're fighting Drow (dark elves-very very bad) that have teamed up with otherworldly shit that wants to hurt us. It's fun!
