Our whole family just got over HFM and now M has a cold. Poor kid can't catch a break. H didn't get sick a single time until after he turned 1 so this is new for us.

LO has cradle cap across the front of his hair line. It looks like he's dirty.
DD still has a patch despite trying to get rid of it over her 3 years. Since I can't see it now I haven't fussed over it and it's slowly decreasing with hair brushing.
We have DD's birthday party later today. I need to be getting things ready, but DS is asleep on me, which is so nice since he is in daycare during the week. I am going to regret this decision later, but for now, yay baby snuggles.
After DS goes through these Target brand diapers, I will be switching back to Pampers! Multiple times now poop has come out the leg hole. Now I just got peed on through the leg hole.

We've been using the target brand diapers for awhile and haven't had any leaks. LO has pretty chunky thighs though. His size 2s are already getting tight around the legs.
DS just moved into 2s last week. His thighs are pretty chunky. I dunno.
What is up with him always playing with his stuff down there when naked?
I babysat a boy who had his hands down his pants a lot and I don't want S to be like that. It was so awkward.
It feels good to them. Not in a sexual way, they just recognize that it feels good. When they become older, you can tell him that he can only touch himself down there in the bathroom or privacy of his bedroom.

We haven't had any issues either. L is pretty skinny and still in 1's

My 2.5 year old is obsessed with his penis. He tells everyone about it and needs to know who has a penis and who doesn't. Once he fell down and said, "I OK. Just bumped the penis". I laughed so hard.

I have actually been really happy with the Target diapers. They've been pretty good with leaks and massives poops. We've been in size 2s for a few weeks now. I like Huggies, but you can't beat the price of the Up&Up Brand.

DS1 is 3 and is quite entertained by his penis. A few weeks ago he asked if I had a penis. I said that I didn't. He looked confused and asked, "So you don't pee?" I laughed and said that I do, but I didn't have a penis because I was a girl.
We're also trying to get him to pull up his pants after using the potty in the bathroom. He's been waddling out with his pants around his ankles. When I had to remind him the other day to pull up his pants in the bathroom, he asked, "Why, mommy? Cuz no one wants to see my penis and crack?" I couldn't help but giggle and confirm that no, people would prefer not to see his private parts. Boys!

Going to the Kent potterfest tonight. The whole town is being transformed into a Harry Potter themed party with main street turning into diagon alley. So much fun! Unfortunately its supposed to rain, so we're gonna have to bundle LO up.

DD found her 'bits' (boys have 'doodys' - both her words) and has had a few moments of sitting spread eagled trying to see what's down there or having a wee feel and noticing it obviously feels quite nice. I haven't said anything at all. It's just curiosity and her discovering her body for now. If she were to start doing it in company then we'd obviously chat about keeping certain things private.
DD is napping and I just ate lunch and made an appetizer for a party H and I are going to tonight. I hope DD stays happy most of the night. She's been fussy the past few nights once it gets past 7 pm.
Try to have fun! Hopefully you can enjoy a cocktail or two and baby girl will behave!

That sounds so fun! There is going to be a Harry Potter event near Madison in October. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go!

Yah the price is exactly why I switched to Up&Up. But not worth it if he is going to leak.
Dinner prepped, kids napping and I'm drinking wine. I love weekends.
Right?! I've accomplished a lot today. I made lactation cookies, a few loads of laundry are washed/dried/folded, some bills paid. Ok that doesn't sound like a lot, but it felt like it. Especially considering DH is gone all weekend so I've been solo parenting.
ETA- oh and I forgot, DS and I took a bath! He's a little fishy
jags8, I'm not really a bath person - but I really want to take one with Star. I think that would be fun.
I usually only take baths when I need a good shave session. I also took them all the time during pregnancy to help ease sciatica pain. But now that DS has good head control and notices his surroundings, he is so fun to take a bath with! And much easier than bending over the tub.
I feel like Star is definitely one of the biggest A16 babies. He's been in size 3s for three weeks, and is wearing 12m sleepers.
A is one of the littlest. She's 13#2oz and can still squeeze into 3 mo outfits. I'd love to see them next to each other!
I'm with you. Not sure how much L weighs but she's an early April baby and still wears size 1 diapers and still fits in her 0-3mo clothes. She wears some 3-6, but a lot are swimming on her
LO is almost 4 months but the size 2s are almost too small. We only use them at bedtime and I thought they were size 1s and I JUST ordered a bunch of size 2s online only to realize that I probably should have bought size 3s since they won't be here... for I'm not even sure. The mail is taking forever.
I just had to get size 6-9 month pajamas because she's too long for the 3-6 month ones! She is just SO different from DD1!! A much bigger baby.
