I am struggling this morning. Working through my nauseous feels like torture. I only have one sick day left for the year.
I feel like pre-mat leave needs to be a thing one day
I hear ya! Fighting the nausea and a major headache this morning. I always joke that if men were the ones who had babies all these things would already be in place
My hCG is 909! My doctor called me! Not the nurse! I think he is just as cautious as I am, haha. He said my hcg looked good, and is going to have a nurse call to schedule an early ultrasound for next week. He said we wouldn't likely see a heartbeat yet, but could maybe rule out a molar presence or other abnormality at least (well, for now anyway - I don't think a molar can really be ruled out for quite some time yet).
I looked online for hCG by week and mine looks a little high...high hCG can be a sign of a molar pregnancy. But I also read that the numbers can be very different person to person. Someone talk me off the edge of panic - anyone else have a similar number at 4w4d?
Had to catch an early flight to FL this morning for work. I will be gone two nights - the first time I've been away from DD overnight. While I am looking forward to a good nights sleep I am sitting next to a mom and her baby and it's making me miss her . At least it's only two nights.
BFP #1 December 2012 - MMC January 2013, D&C February 2013 BFP #2 October 2014 - DD arrived July 16, 2015 BFP #3 July 2016 - MC @ 9 weeks August 2016 BFP #4 Due January 2, 2018 - Please stick baby!

I had mine drawn yesterday at 4w3d and it came back at 1610. My doctor was happy. Hang in there! That sounds right on track to me!
Happy thoughts glb30! Congratulations on increasing numbers mosdub! Hopefully that's exactly where it needs to be. moutonrouge loose dogs are a real fear of mine! We've been attacked too- that's some scary shit. Impressive restraint not crying. sarahh that's a big step, being away from DD overnight the first time. Good luck! I had oatmeal with pb and a half a banana for breakfast. Keeps me going til lunch!

mosdub yay for your betas! I have zero experience with the numbers so I'm no help there. But you are definitely right that it all varies from person to person. I'm sure it's just fine!
I hope you can get in for an ultrasound early next week just to ease your mind a little! FX!

Ugh I really need to clean the house, it needs it and I think it's why I feel extra blah lately. It reflects me I guess. Hoping the little bit of coffee gives me a boost.
Ah, thanks caer the more I read the more I'm finding that it's so relative to the person. Phew, I'm all over the place emotionally right now. It slightly panicked me that the doctor called me instead of the nurse, like he had to break some bad news to me. I'm definitely going to cry at the ultrasound because of associations.
mosdub - also, have you checked by DPO? I think that's a more accurate estimate. I was 20 DPO yesterday and 1610 was just a little on the high side. Also, if you look at betabase.com, you'll see there's a huge range of numbers. I know it's easy to obsess about the numbers - I'm doing my fair share - but there does seem to be a wide range of normal.
mosdub yes!!! Happy for the good numbers. Those sounds like strong numbers! I don't think they are extremely high when I'm looking at numbers but I don't have alot of experience with what betas mean. Fx for a good u/s soon.
I got yelled at through our IT inbox so the entire department knows. Cool. Talking to notarealdoctor and DD this morning on Skype made me feel better though!
ugh this sucks. Who would do that?
My boss is a bitch if you can't figure out what she is thinking.
As for me, I am having PGAL brain terribly today. As of yesterday my boobs are a lot less tender than they were (first sign of MC last time). I went in for Betas today, 4 days ago they were 3000 so I'm not sure what a good number would be at this point. Maybe between 8000-12000? I know they slow down around 6000. So here I am being nervous and unproductive while I should really be studying a lot. I just want the next few hours to go be quickly!

Me too. My symptoms aren't as intense but I keep telling myself that maybe I'm over the hump of m/s since I'm 8w/3d

Mine was 1801 at 4w5d, and I have a so far healthy single pregnancy, so hopefully yours is too.
