So is there anything we can actually do about bloat or is it just a suck it up type thing? Cause it's seriously painful at this point
If you think you're bloated because you're constipated, you could take one of the laxatives on the okay list to help. I eat a lot of fiber for breakfast and drink more water than I need, so I wound up taking some milk of magnesia (Phillips). That worked for me and I think kiiiind of regulated things. At least I'm not as bloated anymore - that was peak bloat.

We're having some work done on the outside of the house, and yesterday the contractor called to schedule it. We set a date, I marked it on my work calendar, etc.
Then he called again a half hour later, like we had never spoken, to schedule it. I reminded him we had just talked and we laughed and I hung up.
He just called again, same spiel like we hadn't done this twice already. I reminded him we talked yesterday and it's on my calendar. I did not laugh this time. Mildly concerned he'll call a fourth time, or won't show up on the day now that we've talked about it so much.
So frustrated! My H was supposed to rinse C's poop diapers last night so I could do the laundry this morning and he left half of them. I just tried to do it but nearled hurled on myself so that's not happening. Looks like I get to stay up late to do diaper laundry. I appreciate my H trying to be so helpful but it is infuriating when he wont listen and then ends up only half helping.

That is really really strange... I hope he is okay, that sounds like more than a minor mess-up.

I think he put a series of proposed dates on his calendar, then called each client to confirm. But then I think he hasn't figured out how to mark the dates confirmed and keeps calling thinking he hasn't done it yet. He keeps calling with the same date, at least. But I would think he could look in his call history if he forgot.
I finally made mine- not until August 5th and it's just an intake with the midwife at the practice. The appointment after that isn't until the very end of August. I usually try to just see my OB but with DS2 she left me and all her other patients for nearly 4 weeks. She does missionary work in India. But I ended up seeing 3 different nurse practitioners who didn't know me and I hated them. One sent me to the hospital for a 3 hour NST because their office machine malfunctioned, another one accused me of not eating. So this time I have a game plan to alternate between my OB and the OB who delivered my son. They are going to hate me when I actually advocate for my care this time!
Fearsy We were up at 4:30am as well, but it was wakeup #4 for us last night and I eventually managed to get him back to sleep until 8:00am. Babies, man.
Wow. Sleep deprivation is the absolute worst. I'm so, so sorry!
DH and I took the day off yesterday as we had our first appointment (all's well and update in First appointment thread), meeting with DD's new school, and a contractor out to talk about remodeling our kitchen! It was a productive day, and all good news! Love her new school (hopefully she does too), great appointment, and I'm so freaking excited about gutting our kitchen!
I really don't want to be at work today, but gotta pay the bills!
Does anyone else have insomnia? 1st pregnancy, I slept ALL the time! Normally I'm a really good sleeper. Now, I can't shut my mind off. Even when I do fall asleep, I have that feeling that I'm not really asleep. I think my mind is just restless. It's weird, and making me so much more tired.
I'm so nervous with flying- I don't like to travel much. So I've been watching my husband's flights all morning. He is now on his last leg of the trip and I've been following the flight plan like a hauk.
I am on my way to take 3 depositions. I'm the one asking the questions, so I can't just sit there. And morning sickness hit full force this morning. I am throwing up every 30 minutes- and sweating like crazy. This shouldn't be awkward at all.

Oh no! This sounds like a terrible day. I hope it goes ok.

You have all my sympathy. I had a trial during the peak of my morning sickness with DS and it was not pretty. I hope today goes as smoothly as possible for you!
