Gahhhhh my dad said yes!!!! He apparently had been planning to give me money anyway toward starting the kids a college fund so he gave me a check TODAY. Holy hell I did not expect that. I have to think of something really nice to do for him.

Speaking of money for education. k3am didn't you say there are financial people on working parents and they might not mind a post from a stranger? MIL gave us the starting check for DS but I still don't know what we are going to do...
Back from visiting family and enjoying a relaxing day at home. I would love to go nowhere today, but as I was opening all of our mail, I found an invitation to a kindergarten event tonight. We also need groceries. And I have no caffeine in this house.
We had a huge lightning storm today. The thunder was so loud it startled the baby while he was nursing and made him cry! I'm hoping it stops so we can walk over to the school instead of driving and not risk getting soaked.

That's awesome teraiin !! About an ounce a day is awesome.
mrssqueegy maybe you can ask them to come in for a weight check before the 4 month visit? I'm toying with the idea of doing that myself.
I have a scale at home and can also stop by the pedi's office any time for a weight so I know that I'll keep weighing him in the meantime. But it just stresses me out that she doesn't even want to know! Lol.
DS (our little Clomid miracle) born Sept. 25, 2012 Baby #2 lost at 8w3d on March 4, 2015 (EDD Oct. 11, 2015) Baby #3 lost at 5w2d on April 16, 2015 (EDD Dec. 15, 2015) Baby #4 lost at 4w1d on May 20, 2015 (EDD Jan. 25, 2016) DS2 (our little rainbow miracle) born May 25, 2016
Me: 30 DH: 29; Married: September, 2010 TTC #1: April 2013 Benched: May 2013 Cancer(DH) Off the Bench: September 2014 July 2015 ER low sperm count and motility(radiation side effect). FET September 1,2015. BFP 9/9/15.- 3 on the way.
DS2 had a crappy weight gain this week but I seem to be the only one who is worried about him. Why can't I feel more relaxed about it like DH or even my doctor. He gained 8 oz last week and only 2 oz this week. Since his last weight at the doctor he's only been gaining just under 20 g per day (20-30 g is normal). My doctor doesn't even want to see him again until 4 months. DS1 stopped gaining weight at 8 weeks when my supply plummeted and I'm so worried that it's going to happen again even though we are much more in top of things this time. Also my doc uses the CDC charts (should use the WHO ones) but it makes his percentiles look better than he is so I don't want to correct her. Lol. I just want to get to when we can start solids and I don't have to stress. With DS1, once we started solids everything was better.
My pediatrician also didn't worry about checking the girls weight between 2 and 4 months. Though to be fair if she has looked at the medical records from all the other docs she would have gotten a three month weight for them.

Neither one of my boys had weights checked between 2 weeks and 2 months, or between 2 and 4 months. I never knew I should worry about it. I'd almost rather go that long. Any real problems would raise red flags and I could evaluate from there. Otherwise it gives more time to work the kinks out and avoids pressure to do more than necessary (supplement, extra pumps, etc).

DS can push himself right off the breast friend pillow with his legs whole nursing. It drives me crazy and he's not a fan either (yet he keeps doing it) lol
Ooooook, soooo I JUST figured out that my messages (PMs) ONLY open on Tapatalk! so NONE of the PMs I have gotten have ever come through on the Proboards website! k3am, that's why I never saw your message from ages ago until the latest Tapatalk update, where now messages actually come through! so weird. I only get PMs on Proboards if they are sent from proboards!
Sooo, with that being said, if you PM me and it takes a while to respond, now you know why!
L fell right to sleep after her bath (only fussed a little before passing out). But I'm wide awake! Always frustrating when I can't take advantage of time she's sleeping to get some rest myself. FX that I can wind down and get sleep...and that she has a nice long stretch tonight! She gave us 7 hrs last night...I don't expect that to happen every night (although it would be nice!).
Uterine fibroids (removed by robotic myomectomy 11/14) and past removal of L ovary/tube d/t ovarian torsion (4/99). New diagnosis of endometriosis (5/15)
6 hour chunk of sleep. Yay! I don't want to him myself by saying it seems to be a trend but it's nice to hope that I can take advantage of that chunk of sleep by crashing after he does...
