Honestly? Less people talking/staring at me. Some people like this attention, but I cringe at it. Sometimes it's okay; sometimes I just want to be left alone. Sometimes I willingly choose to skip social stuff because I feel big, awkward, and just don't want to have a conversation about my cervix, belly or feelings on becoming a parent.
Joy is a private soul.
OMFG. All of this. People need to stop talking to me. I really don't get why being pregnant suddenly invites everyone to ask me questions or make comments. "when are you due? You must be so hot? Are you having a boy? Is this your first?" Leave me alone!!
I'm having twins. The comments are never going to end. Not for the rest of my life.
Mimosas in the hospital room post-partum is totally okay, right?
Just asking for a friend lol!
The hospital I used last time offered that as a package you could buy so I don't see why not. I know lots of people who had a beer or glass of wine (another package option) brought to them.

A lot of my list is really post-nursing. NyQuil for colds, unlimited caffeine, stomach sleeping (I get clogged ducts if I try). That will all be nice.
For immediate PP, I am ecstatic that I only have to take my blood sugar once a week for 6 weeks. The GD diet isn't so bad, but the planning and mental overhead is. Plus snacking whenever I am hungry. And unlimited (or at least less) fruit!
Throwing away the nasty, chalky, tums is probably at the top of my list. Wine is probably next. Then, all things that are hard to digest (steak, fruits, veggies). Thanks gastroparesis. Sex is on the list but if I'm being honest it ranks way below these other things.

I'm glad so many of you get to go back to your normal diets - GD isn't so bad because it has an end date. (Womp womp this is my forever life and I'm kind of sad about it)

Some of mine are PP, and some are post-nursing (beyond those days that I pump and dump.)
-everything not hurting anymore -actually doing enough kegels that I don't instantly pee when I cough or sneeze -being active and playing with my 2 year old easily -exercising regularly and getting back into shape -wearing non-maternity clothes (I didn't bother losing weight in between having my son A'14 and getting pregnant again 12'15.) -sleeping on back, sleeping on stomach -wine -sangria -regular coffee in unlimited amounts -poke -as much tuna as I want -lox on my bagel during lunch on Shabbat -Trader Joe's spinach and pre-packaged salads and other things that sometimes get recalled that I was too scared to eat -sex -no more tums for heartburn

gratefulgirl how do you know if you have clogged ducts and what do you do about it? My left breast is always super rock hard and sore, and my right is not. I thought it was just normal and needing to regulate milk supply but maybe there is something else going on?

A clog is more an isolated painful spot. It's different than engorgement. You nurse frequently an (this hurts like whoa but is better than mastitis) massage the clog while milk is flowing. With DD2 who did not have a super strong suck I found my pump all the way up was most effective at getting clogs loose.
If your LO favors one side, that side will tend to be fuller and more sore.
Soy leithicin is supposed to prevent clogs, but I have not tried it.
