Winnifred I bought 8 pairs of maternity jeans and returned 7 of them. Turns out maternity pants shopping is as brutal as regular pants shopping the pair I kept is not perfect, but it's good enough and soo comfortable. It is full panel. I've also heard from many people that you wear maternity pants well past giving birth, in case that incentivizes you! @winenchocolate posted that sale at Pea in the Pod yesterday (thank you!!) and maybe it is still on? They had some jeans.
I am home sick today with a brutal cold. Like the "I can't get off the couch" variety. I rarely get this sick so maybe it's just the compromised immune system? Anyway, ugh. I have plans to see a friend and her family this weekend but I'll have to see how this cold plays out. I don't want to make her kids sick.

No to the doula. I had an awesome midwife, so I was content. And in hindsight, I wound up with an emergency c-section, so I'm glad I never hired one! That would have been a waste of money. Especially since my insurance doesn't cover it (unless your spouse is deployed during the birth), so it would have been out of pocket.
Winnifred I found that the motherhood panels are much better than Target and Old Navy's panels. They are somehow thinner but more stable. I could never find a pair of low-panel pants that fit in the waist, I went straight to full panel.
Plus whatever to full panel maternity jeans. Although I have a pair of side panel shorts that are still working for me. But I hated the side panel and low panel in full jeans.
We got approved to rent the house we saw on Wednesday. Giving the deposit and signing the lease tonight, to move in September. So excited.
So I guess my weekend will be spent starting to pack.

Most doulas will refund you a portion of their fee if you end up not needing them in a situation like that. And if that happens, I can use the other portion of her fee towards her services as a lactation consultant or postpartum doula. So there are options at least.
littlelion, those look so good! I miss churros so much. It used to be one of the treats I would get when we went to hockey games. We did find these g-free cinnamon roll muffins that we cut up, fry and toss in cinnamon and sugar that are a pretty good substitute though. I might need to go grab some of those today.

The best part is these are freshly made, still warm! I wasn't that big of a fan until I tried these. I like how you macgyver'd churros!
So I went to motherhood maternity and their panels are awesome!! It's a totally different type of fabric than I've seen anywhere else. I tried on a few and plan to buy one online - you get a code for $20 off your online order when you sign up for their mailing list!
Same! I'm all about the full panel. I think it's from being overweight already. Like my fat pushes the lower band ones down too much, whereas the full panel goes over my fat and bump.
Yes! Exactly this.
YES! The demi-panel on my jeans always like doubles over itself and I just feel like my gut is out. The full panel makes everything feel tucked into place.
(HAII!!! I'm really late to the conversation here, lol)

requiressnacks, how was the movie? Is it worth going to or wait to red box? Some of my friends went to the IP Jokers show last night, they said it was good.

It was funny! I mean, no one is feeling bad for Mila Kunis as a stressed out mom, but it was cute. You could probably wait for Redbox unless it's a slow week and you want some popcorn.
