We had a super busy day here, which was mostly me trying to keep my son from killing himself. It took me probably almost three hours to read FFFC just because I'd read a post or two, and then my kid would be toddling at full speed to a staircase, or empty bookshelf, or having a melt down because I told him he can't eat dog food. I'm exhausted.
pghtruelove we were prescribed a prescription compound butt paste but our insurance wouldn't cover it, grr. We have to mix nystatin and regular butt paste and see if it clears in a week. If not, we have to go back and then try eliminating things to see if that helps. We haven't changed anything diaper or laundry detergent or soap wise, but she said an allergy could develop randomly.
What play place did you go to? I'm in love with party lane!

Poor thing! I hope it helps!! We went to party Lane! It was our third time there. So fun!!!
If you ever want to go, pghtruelove, let me know! LO was really into it and I felt like I could kind of let her go and be safe without hovering too much!

That's the best part. I just watched her from a far! I was hoping to go again next week!

So glad it's a long weekend! We will probably get the boat out and hit the lake! I just broke the printer at work by trying to print a recipe. It will not quit spitting out paper and won't let me cancel or stop it. It is now unplugged. This is the main printer for the front desk and it sees a lot of action.
Oh score you've got a boat, now we need to be friends haha

Ok! We have a fishing one and a skiing one! And the lake is 5 minutes from my house! Pack up the family and come up!

carrots and jillywilly too, sorry you're dealing with biting behavior at DC. As a toddlers and twos teacher I've had my fair share of biters and always feel for both the parents of the bitee and biter. Unfortunately its just a very common and normal part of this stage and especially difficult when toddlers are grouped together. (Ive seen it a lot less in mixed-age groups). I've never had a classroom in which there wasn't at least one (usually more) kid biting other kids. It gets DRAMATICALLY better as the kids increase their vocabulary, start playing with each other and getting more involved in activities, rather than just.. toddling around the room exploring and bumping into each other lol. Seriously though, it is a sucky but common situation to be in and I hope your children's teachers deal with it appropriately, with patience and concern for you and your LOs.
