babyzebra, I feel the same way. There are so many fun things we can do with DS now on the weekends but adding a baby to the mix makes the whole idea a lot less fun. Hopefully things get easier in a couple of months.
DH and I had such a fun night out last night, I can't remember the last time we had so much fun just the two of us. The concert was great and the lead singer (who I have a bit of a crush on) came up through the crowd and actually sat down right in front of me during on song, it was amazing. A night out was so needed.
txmommy14 I really like this one, but it is a sports bra so it may not be your style. I felt it gave me more support then others I have. Eta - the link doesn't seem to work but it is the "sports clip down bra"
bighair12 The mountains sound lovely. I'm so sorry for YH's friend. That must be so hard, but I imagine it will be nice for the friend to be surrounded by people he loves.
csat that is so wonderful you had such a fun date!! It sounds so awesome!
So my random for the day - I just watched a little video we made of the day DD came home from the hospital and I can't believe how much she has grown in such a short amount of time!
The baby was napping and the toddler dropped a toy and it was a loud crash. Baby flipped her shit and wouldn't stop crying because it scared her so bad. Toddler says it's ok mommy will get her boobs out to make her better. Oh boy!

Haha, good call toddler, this is my first response to all baby tears!
woodengirl07 ugh the sizing is the worst. I keep trying to put her in outfits labeled for her size only to realize they are huge! But then I'm pretty sure by the time I remember to try again they will be too small :/
Anyone have a nursing bra they love? I bought a few new ones this time but hate them, or maybe they're just getting deformed and ruined when I wash them.
One more day of inlaws! My MIL tolerance is getting super low. DH has to work tomorrow night so I'm bringing them to my parents place for dinner (i.e. backup). Some highlights: MIL had a good salad today, so we all had to listen to her describe it no less than three times and also look at the pictures. MIL "cured" DH's speech impediment by making him sing songs with the letters he had trouble with "over and over" and telling him he couldn't go to kindergarten because no one would understand him (DH has really vivid memories of this and and is still uncomfortable and embarrassed about the fact that he stuttered as a toddler, CAN'T IMAGINE WHY). I referenced the fact that my family is very close but not particularly affectionate, and MIL said "wait until you lose a few people close to you, that will change." WTF. MIL was holding the baby when he was asleep and she called me over to show me "how ticklish he is". Great, stop poking the baby with your fingernails while he is sleeping please. Agh! One more day!
ArgyleEnigma that is awesome-I'd be prancing and rolling too!!
We made it to the beach yesterday, it was great. We also went grocery shopping on Friday so feeling pretty damn accomplished this weekend. Not sure what to tackle today. So far, nursing and more nursing.
DH, DS and I all have the same cold. We've been coughing, sneezing, had runny noses, and DS also has a low grade fever. I really really hope DD doesn't get it too. We are non-stop hand washing and keeping DS away from her. The plan for today is a movie marathon. I think we're already on hour #5 of screen time. Oh well.
I'm waiting for a pedicure right now and they put me in the chair while I wait for my lady to finish with someone else. The massage chair feels wonderful, but at times is shaking my poor boobs. I'll probably leave here with a nice relaxed back and a soaking wet front. #worthit
DH is at work for the night so it is just me and the inlaws. They are watching DS while I grocery shop for dinner with my parents. MIL told me the story of her amazing beet salad again, so that is my justification for the fact that instead of going straight home, I am sitting in grocery store parking lot, eating a large whoopie pie that I bought for myself.
soultrane I just got a pedicure and the chair was shaking my belly. I felt like Santa with my jolly bouncing belly.
babyzebra hope you guys feel better! Maybe it was your subconscious making you have increased snuggle time before the work week.
I took ds1 on a date this morning. I think I needed it more than him. We went swimming at the pool then relaxed in the hot tub (he only put his feet in). Then we went and ran some errands and it was so easy to do things with just him! I left a bottle for dh, but ds2 napped for 4 hours this morning. What the what?
I'm cheersing all the mamas who have To go back to work tomorrow. I hope it doesn't suck as much as we think it will and may we all find some benefit from adult interaction.
Feeling like a crazy person today. DD's Zantac definitely has not kicked in yet. So much screaming. She hasn't slept longer than 5-10 minutes and has not let me put her down all day. Throw the toddler into the mix and I'm really about to lose it. Dreading facing tomorrow. We are at 9 weeks now, I am seriously hoping this crying subsides soon. I think it's a mix of reflux and just being generally fussy and grunty (if that's even a word) all of the time.
