caitost21 that is awesome! we need to look into refinancing. I think we could get rid of our PMI and that would save us about $200/mo...just have to figure out if the difference in rate and other costs would negate the benefit. I have been thinking about it for a year...but...lazy.
Do you have to refinance or can you just prove you have 20% equity?

I thought (but may be wrong) that it is based on the original purchase price or loan value, which we are not yet 20% in on. But, if we were to refinance, since it has gone up in value, our loan to value would be better and we'd have 20% equity, if that makes sense. But maybe there's a way to do that without re-fi by getting appraisal or something( of course re-fi maybe would be good for other reasons) I just don't know. My knowledge of these matters is practically zero!
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

From what I remember, some of my friends have bought fixer-uppers and had them reappraised after a year or so of doing work on the house to get the home value increased to drop PMI. Not sure if you would have to refi for that or not.

Thanks, I'll definitely look into it. An extra couple hundred here and there is crucial these days!!

caitost21, that's great! We keep talking about re-fi since we've done so much work on the house, but we have a few more projects that need to be finished before we get an appraisal.
My cat won't stop throwing up She just puked four times. The first time she threw up some rubber plug thing. Now I'm freaking out that she ate something and it's blocking her intestines or something.
TTC #1 since August 2013 DX: Endo November 2014: Hysteroscopy, D&C June - September 2015: Clomid + Novarel + IUI #1-3 January 2017: Laparoscopy - endo removed
Trumper aunt, per usual fashion, messaged me with a lecture about how I need to respect her views. This always happens when we argue. For some reason her speaking her mind is free speech, but any response I give is me causing trouble.
When I was on FB I had this one friend who would always post nutso comments on my posts (and usually it was unrelated, because he was the type to turn every comment into an insult of libs/Obama) and I would just delete his comments and remind everyone that I'm not the government so I can repress your free speech all day long.
But seriously, so sorry for the family drama - families are so tricky to navigate.

Oh no lilsneezy poor kitty! Is she acting weird otherwise? Hopefully it's just whatever that thing was!
She's walking around the house meowing now. She's pretty vocal so I'm not sure what to think about that. She just started gagging again. Ugh I'm calling the vet.

Sorry to hear about the icky day so far for some people! onesweetworld, I hope your day goes fast and that it's the weekend again before you know it! icedtea, I agree with daisy818 that you can restrict free speech all you want. I have shamelessly deleted things some people have said (more when people give me crap for, gasp, thinking black lives actually matter and all that!) and asserted that that's a hill I will gladly die on and don't want to allow even borderline racist things anywhere near my online presence. lilsneezy sorry about your kitty
Well, I woke up to a towed car! Great first dealing with our new city. I was told I blocked a driveway, I must have been hallucinating when I parked because I really don't think I am ignorant enough not to see a driveway in normal circumstances. Ugh. Makes me feel like I am going crazy. Love spending more money on stupid shit, especially when it's my fault.
icedtea and anyone else. The best thing I did this week is change my Facebook settings that anything posted on my wall has to be approved by me. Also I cleaned out all the stuff on my wall that annoys me. My wall I do what I want !

Eek! Can you get into the vet? If she's throwing up then it's at least getting out of her, so I'm told that's usually a positive thing.

Love the bolded.
I am both glad for the support and sad y'all have to deal with the nuts too!
I didn't realize one of my bosses is going to be out today and I was going to talk to him about taking Friday and Monday off. At least I talked to my other boss about it yesterday and he is generally the one that I dread talking to. Meh.
ourcrazynavylife I love that. Totally something my dogs would do.
lilsneezy hope get can take a look at kitty, poor thing!
@ohinvertedworld ugh!! Towed cars are such a pain! Sometimes driveways can actually be tricky to see...I've accidentally blocked one before that I would've sworn was not there when I parked.

Has anyone had a liver ultrasound? I asked how to prepare and the person spoke too quickly. I'm going to call again tomorrow, but to get an idea... She said something about not eating/drinking for x hours ahead of time?

lilsneezy, Im sorry about the sick kitty. I hope the vet figures out what is wrong with her. PirateCat, can you email your boss? icedtea, I hate people like that. I hope you get a silent period for a while. I would much rather not post anything and avoid the argument. You can't please everybody.

I am parked way down the street to avoid doing it again, even though I knew there's a totally safe spot near where I was last night. Plus I don't want those people to be like, great, that crazy lady is back haha.
