We've been dealing with a cranky pants little boy with a snotty nose since this weekend, which has been no fun at all. He ran a high fever on Sunday, so DH stayed home with him on Monday. He's on the mend but oh my goodness who is this devil child who doesn't listen to me and cries and cries and cries when he doesn't get his way? DC has been going okay I guess. LO seems to enjoy it, and the socialization is good. I just wish they gave me more details on his day. I have no idea how he napped yesterday, but judging from the 15 min meltdown last night and the fact that he fell asleep in my lap with the lights on while we were reading books before bed, I'd say it wasn't very well. Things I'd like to know at pickup. Anyway, I'm glad it's at least Wednesday. Hot coffee and happy toddlers to all!
And, bkmama0 did you get a time table for hearing about Madrid? I was thinking about that this morning (while wishing I had a cool interview and a chance to move away!)
Good morning mommas. I dropped LO off at daycare went to Walmart and sneaking in a quick pedicure. Then heading home to pack!!!! I can't believe that we close on our new house in 3 days!!!! Kinda felt guilty about leaving him at daycare when he could be with me. Do you leave LO at daycare to do things when they could be with you. Please send some encouragement my way!!! I will try to post some pictures of the new house this weekend!! Hope everyone has a great Hump day!!!!!!
Good morning ladies! laceysbryan both my littles ran a high fever this week. They also just had a complete meltdown as I was walking out of the house fort Dr's appt. I have no idea why. babyw15 if I could take my kids to DC to take care of some things I would. As it is I leave them with DH or MIL so I can go to yoga and target by myself. Mamas need time for themselves also.
I have been clawing my way through everyday and hoping for bedtime every night. It makes me feel like MOTY, but DH had 5 shows in 3 days. I am just hoping that with the end of the 1st tri almost here I see a relief the MS. Other then that just the daily grind.
babyw15, Yeah, whenever I take the day or afternoon off I struggle not to keep Leo with me instead of DC. But you have to get stuff done and that's the only way...don't feel guilty!
nemomof2, I hope the 2nd tri does the trick for you and that YH can be home more often soon!
laceysbryan, I know, I was so spoiled with the infant daily reports. I always assume he never sleeps enough or drinks enough milk.
Spent last couple of hrs yesterday and this morning moving my desk one over. My desk is still a bit in shambles but I'm tired. I need to sit and do nothing.
Just sitting here looking fwd to lunch. And eating grapes. Happy hump day!

Good morning ladies. The contractors are back this morning to install the rest of the lights. So we'll finally have lights in the bedrooms. Haha
Goal is to unpack Em's room today so she can sleep in her actual crib instead of the pnp.
I started working on a little play station/area for her next to my desk. I want to find her a little table to sit at.
Other than that just waiting on the plumber to call us back because they couldn't fix the shower. It's actually a simple fix but they didn't have the part because it's an old style.
littlelion I want grapes now. Hope you to rest up! ourcrazynavylife we have a really fun wooded table that the kids love to do their crafts on. MIL found it on amazon.

My coworker brought them in. He finds the weirdest grapes. Today it's tear dropped shaped grapes. They look like chili peppers. Last time it was grapes that tasted like cotton candy.

Oh wow, how cool! I wished I lived in an area that you could find that kind of stuff. When I was in school we tried that kind of stuff all the time.
Went out to lunch today with some friends, so of course lo had to fall asleep 3 minutes before we got home. And apparently that was a very refreshing 3 minutes, because he is fighting nap HARD today. He's not mad about it, but he's in there chatting away and doing some sort of crib gymanstics.
Here's some AWS while I debate what to do about my non napping child. And here I was starting to be concerned about some of his gross motor skills like climbing... proved me wrong. We both had Harry Potter shirts on.
laceysbryan glad he's feeling better! I feel the same way about lo some days. Some days he's so sweet, and other days he's got quite the temper. babyw15 enjoy that you time! Good luck finishing up packing. nemomof2 you are a trooper solo parenting whole still feeling sick. Hope the end of the MS is in sight! littlelion hope the rest of your workday flies by! ourcrazynavylife Ikea has some cute little table/chair sets.
ashlantic, I am coming up with ideas now on how to do a HP nursery for the newest LO. I figured since this is definitely our last little I better get it done. I meant to with LO but didn't get around to it because of bedrest. I am starting early this time just in case I am already planning on calling the changing station Platform 9 3/4
Had my dr's appt today. I thought everything went well. Only gained 2 lbs since my last visit, good BP, and found baby's heart beat. Doctor wants to see me again in 2 weeks. He says to keep an eye on me, the nurse mentioned high glucose in my urine. Any of you other mamas had this and had your doctor worry. I had sugar in my urine most other times with both DD and DS and it was never a problem. I am just super anxious that he wants to see me in 2 weeks instead of 4. I seem to be more anxious with this pregnancy then I was with my other ones and I don't know why?

OOOOOOOOMG huge melt down like as soon as we got home from DC. Stopped crying to eat dinner, then started right back up when he was told not to throw his food. Cried through bath, through stories, and is now crying in bed. Someone please come put me out of my misery. Is this a normal daycare transition thing? I'm sort of freaking out about it.
Thanks for the encouragement mommas! I took LO at 8:30 and picked him up around 4. I got the whole kitchen done. That was the biggest part and most fragile! Tomorrow I'm stacking LO's room and play room. Then Friday will be the rest of my room. I can do this. I can get it done. I'm trying to convince my mom to come hope me tomorrow. I told her to come over to play with LO or to help or to both! Lol he maid will be at her house and she hates being there when she is so I have a chance!

If I remember right, this is a new OB for you, right? Every doctor approaches this stuff differently. It sounds as though yours is conservative and that's a very good thing. I would imagine he is just looking for trends to see if you are developing gestational diabetes. If you didn't the other pregnancies, then the sugar in your urine may just be what your body does. But I think it's good he's watching- it doesn't mean that anything is bad with the pregnancy, just that you may need closer observation or some extra treatment. Hang in there- I was always more anxious with each kid. I called it "the more you know, the more you worry" syndrome. Hugs!
kcrus thanks! I suppose it is better that he is being more cautious then acting like everything is normal. How are you doing? And how is YH? I didn't get to comment but I have stayed up on the randoms. Is you incision site better?
littlelion he got really close, and then decided to not stick his face in the hose. Lol ourcrazynavylife glad the last few house things are finishing up quickly! nemomof2 love the HP theme!! If we have a 2nd that's what I'd like to do. There's so much cute stuff on pinterest and etsy. Glad you had a good appointment, but sorry you're struggling with anxiety. Hugs. laceysbryan ugh maybe it's age related? My lo has definitely been like that too. Could he be teething? I think that might be a contributing factor to lo's attitude. Hugs, mama. Angry toddlers are tough, especially since they don't have enough words to tell us what's going on. babyw15 glad you were able to get a lot done today.
Is anyone's lo being picky about meals lately? Lo wouldn't try the zucchini rice or chicken I made for dinner. He ate blueberries and peppers and a cup of milk. He was in a terrible mood after nap too. I think he had a nightmare and woke up crying and it took me about 20 minutes to calm him down. Broke my heart.
He was happy after dinner though. He's been humming along while I sing his goodnight song, and it's super adorable. And we finally got his reading corner done! I'm really happy with how it turned out.
