Well it has been six weeks, and it seems to be smaller, but it still bleeds. I have my pp check-up next week so I'll ask about it then if it is still noticeable! Thanks!
If you're bf-ing they may take longer to go away. Mine didn't after DS1, but this time I'm more focused on them. I've learned all sorts of tips on this board!
I sure how this isn't the case for me, they're so horrible I can't sit on anon soft surface, and even the one nurse exclaimed "sweet Jesus" when she saw them. I don't think they've gone down at all either, I have a prescription foam, hydrocortisone and witch hazel pads which I've been alternating. I breast fed my first soon for 2.5 years, I don't think I can live like this for two years! Please tell me they at least went down a bit!
The nurse told me to massage them to move the milk forward, I thought she meant it would go to my boob, not have milk come out of my arm pits! I'm morbidly fascinated and grossed out at the same time. I guess at least they don't have let down, but massaging the lumps definitely makes a drop of milk come out. I had lumps with ds 1 but they never did this!

I didn't get a shower today, partly because LO had a doctor's appointment. So at said appointment DH of course makes me ask about a suture that has just kind of been hanging around, and of course my doctor offers to take a look. Before I can say I'm not all that worried, DH has reached for LO and I have no out. Great. Just the condition I like to be in for my pelvic exams. Sorry, doc!
