If your dog just barks at people, they should not accompany you to an outside restaurant outside of my work. FYI....saying, "He's just excited" doesn't make it any better.
I am not scandalized by seeing a baby/toddler's butt on social media. That is NBD. If it's like a 5 year old that's weird.
You do not have malicious intentions. There are people that do, which is why is it a big deal in my mind.
Eh, straight up genital shots are a no-go. I don't post naked pictures, but I've seen plenty of naked swimming babies this summer. I just can't get it up to be pissed off about a 1 year old's buttcheeks on my timeline.
Ugh. I've seen them too. And its always a parent being like "look at his cute little tooshy" or some stupid thing. Like, no. You have no brain.

I'm not scandalized, I just think its a really dumb decision. The reason being there are actual people actively searching for these images. And I dont think I have to explain that those creepy fucks aren't really concerned wether the person is 1 or 3 or 5. Just fucking no.

I don't think baby butts are that big of a deal either. I have a bare-butt pic of DS running around our foyer using his push-walker thing laughing hysterically because he escaped mid-diaper change. H thought it was scandalous to have on my phone, but I I think it's a hilarious picture, and showed his grandparents. It's also the kind of picture I 100% plan on busting out in about 30 years when he's getting married. Will it ever see the light of day on Facebook or HDBD, no. But I thought H thinking the picture shouldn't even exist was extreme, IMO.
agreed, its about it being on social media. I have bare booty pictures and show them to grandparents or friends but NO to fb or anything of the sort. And front shots what the hell??? While I know the parent is just thinking haha look at my naked kid there is some disgusting human somewhere thinking something very different when they see that picture. Would you let a stranger watch your kid use the bathroom? Its no different IMO

I used to not like the pics even existing, when getting them required dropping film off to be developed by some rando, because creeper could easily be working at the photo place. I don't think its any issue having them saved on your personal phone/computer.
We have a splash pad at our zoo, but there are no close areas to change. Parents (including me) just strip their kids right there to put on/off suits. Obviously most people try to do it discreetly but I always think it would be the perfect place for a pedophile to sit on a bench and watch or snap pictures. I just sort of suck it up, change them as discreetly as possible and let my kids have fun. I can't worry about it.
I think I might have posted a pictured with G's butt showing on the private HDBD once and poofed it later? I can't remember for sure, but I definitely have a few pictures of her cute little booty. I don't post them on facebook but that little butt sure is adorable!
I mean, I've posted one butt picture of B on the private HDBD thread, but I wouldn't post it here or on FB, and wouldn't think about posting anything showing his junk. I do think it is commonly accepted that baby butts are non offensive, I just personally don't feel comfortable with it on social media for my kid. Sad to think there are such sickos out there.
Unfortunately I deal with pedophiles a lot in my line of work. To ease some of your minds, I've never seen a case come through my office (in the 12+ years I've worked here) where the pictures in question were of little baby butts. Nothing even close.
FFThC? When I was young I would eat a "salad" of croutons, cheese, bacon bits, and ranch when we would go out to a place with a salad bar. Because lettuce is gross, yo.
This thread could get interesting pretty fast... ::will be waiting::
I feel like the person that posted the picture on facebook should've been tagged carolyngrace , if this will be continued to be talked about.
ETA: video. And it was from our private board.
You're right. I thought about tagging carolyngrace too, but didn't want it to seem like I was calling her out when the video didn't bother me at all.
I honestly didn't think anything of the video at the time other than how adorable your little guy is and how amazing it was that he wasn't peeing everywhere LOL. But now that it's been brought up I realize it's important for us (as moms) to keep in mind that there are perverts out there looking for this kind of stuff and it would be horrifying if that got into the wrong hands.

I was looking through our family photo albums last weekend and came across 2 photos of the same baby, a family friend, fully naked (taken by his mom and given to us). One of the photos was of him with a Santa hat naked in front of the fireplace. I really hope that was just sent to close family and friends. It was pretty weird to find it in our album. The old fashioned social media.
My UO has to do with baby butts too. I hate Honest Co diapers. Some designs are cute but my guy never runs around in public with just a diaper and rarely at home, too dangerous. My nanny girl wears them, they are smelly, seem uncomfortable, and come undone easily. I almost want to tell her mom to send her in different diapers, I won't, I'll just deal.
@hazeldublin Straight vodka is much worse! Honestly I don't even like hard alcohol at all. I can't believe how much of it I used to drink in college. Blegh. Wine and beer only for me please.
