My cousin had her son today at 9 pounds 1 ounce. My son is 3 weeks olds and is maybe 7 pounds and some odd ounces. The picture doesn't even do her babies size justice.
I'm late to the party today. LO has been sleeping much better the last couple of nights, so I've been getting 4-4.5 hour stretches of sleep. So lovely! I have my follow up with my OB tomorrow, and I don't wanna go because I don't wanna get cleared to dtd. Is that bad? It's really the last thing I'm thinking about at this point, but my husband has been super obnoxious about it lately. Lastly, my LO smiled at me intentionally for the first time last night! I was putting her to bed and going through our nightly routine, which includes reading a book and singing a song, and normally she dozes off while I read the book, then wakes up and watches me sing to her. Last night, as always, she dozed while I was reading. When I began to sing she opened her eyes to look at me like she normally does, then smiled at me! I might have cried a little. It was so sweet.

This is exactly how I am! My appt is Friday and I kind of don't want him to know that is where I am going because I am not at all interested and am already tired of turning him down but then I won't have an excuse anymore. It is just not something I am thinking about, I am still trying to get a handle on this two kid thing and none of us have gotten to bed before 2 am since the baby was born, I don't want to give up any sleep. He hates it but for me, sleep always trumps sex.
