So my cousin came over and we just sat on the couch and talked for hours. I was kind of worried about her and she told me she was having issues with hormonal birth control. So I'm glad to know why she wasn't acting like herself. I had three glasses of wine and I'm suspecting I'll regret it tomorrow.

So DH has said he's going to work on various, small projects around the house. But he hasn't and on his days off when the kids are still in day care, I'll find him binge watching Netflix or working on band stuff. I, honestly, getting resentful but it enough to do these projects myself. So I started a list for him because I was tired of trying to keep track. Apparently that's to motivation he needed. I also pointed out if he gets the new job he'll need to figure out how to do things with the kids around.
After the hour out took to get M to nap I finished cleaning. I rewarded myself with an ice cream cone for breakfast. I might need another while M is napping.
shellyr I picked out M's outfits last minute for his photos. Like while I was passing during his nap an hour before.
That's good to know because I love your photos!
H and I will be in some of them this time which also stresses me out. Maybe I will browse TJ Maxx in a bit to see if there are any cute dresses on sale appropriate for a mom on the beach.
Waiting for H to pay at a store and I'm outside with the kids. 2 families in front of me are the perfect example of why some people shouldn't be parents. One yells at her 2 yo that she's gonna slap him and the other is yelling at her 6 yo and dropping the f bomb at him. This disgusts me.
Gross rainy weekend here. Lots of floor advisories. Great weekend to watch the Olympics and play with the baby! He's using his vtech walker to walk all over the place and he'll walk while we holy his hands. He literally started his yesterday! Now if he could figure out how to stand on his own.

These parents always worry me. If they are like that in public, who knows how awful they might be behind closed doors.
I literally cannot stop buying things for L's birthday, I was hoping to get away cheap but everyone rsvpd yes! Called in reinforcements this week to help get things ready, 2 hours of partying is going to take all week to get organized!!

Threes a family like this that goes to my church, they were getting their kids into the car one day and dad was calling the 2yo a spoiled brat.
I mean I'm not a perfect parent by far and I do flick my 3 yo in the ear when misbehaving, and threaten to do so in public, but that's different than slapping and cursing at a kid. I just think, those poor kids.
2dumbdogs, yea for steps!!! That's so exciting. C stands for like 30 seconds than is like what am I doing and plops down. I can't wait to watch him take his first steps!!

I was in no rush for it, but it was pretty awesome. She's been working really hard to figure it out for like the past week, then it just clicked! Just in time, dad is heading out of town for the week so he got to see her first steps too.

The wedding was fun! H never wants to dance but he did last night. The groom said H was the only one that he invited from work and that he really respects and looks up to him. So that's cool. H was a "non traditional student" and they met in college. So this person is probably 5 or so years younger than H even though they graduated around the same time. H kept in contact with him and when he mentioned not being happy at his job H helped him get hired at his company. Anyway, the wedding was super fun.
I just went for a 5 mile walk and in that time I managed to remove myself from our Fitbit weekend challenge group and start a daily showdown challenge all while the phone was in my back pocket. Ooooops!
@janetheconquerer I totally side eye patents like that. My mom would talk to me like that after muy patents divorced, it's very damaging from my experience.
