I'm also getting my hair cut this afternoon I can't wait!

Ry did really great in his crib but I definitely need to get like a mesh bumper for it so he doesn't get his legs stuck in the bars

I'm back at work today. And H decided to throw me for a loop and had 4 wake ups last night. With this last one being just 45 mins before my alarm to get up and feed him. So now I'm up a lot earlier than I intended.. Coffee time it is!!

I need to book a hair appointment. I want to go back to a long bob but I feel like it's kinda pointless right now because my hair is in a bun or ponytail every day. With a long bob I'll only have the ponytail option and I won't be doing my hair very often so what's the point?

I'm back to work today too. Cam of course chose last night to be difficult to go back to sleep. But he only woke up once so I'll take it! I was up with him 3:30-4:30 and up to get ready at 5:45. I'm really worried about having time to get ready since Cam doesn't have a set schedule yet. This should give me plenty of time- pumping now then I'll have almost an hour and a half to shower and eat my already-made breakfast. And drink coffee!
I did go ahead and swaddle Cam when he was up at 3:30 but I don't think it made a difference. I'm going to try leaving him all night tonight.
I had a very vivid dream that I looked at the monitor and saw Cam standing up. It was one of those so real I thought it happened for a second. I'm not ready for that yet though! My baby is already growing up too fast!

Good luck to everyone returning to work! I'm stuck in so much traffic on my ride in. So far I am 20 mins late with no signs of getting to work anytime soon. As much as it rains in Florida it's amazing that none seems to know how to drive in it. I'm grumpy. Luckily it's Monday so my car is filled with food I was stocking up my mini fridge with. Ain't no one starving in this car

I need to get my cocker spaniel into the groomer. I literally haven't taken a brush to her since the baby was born. I either need to up my game or she needs to go to the groomer more often now...

I'm lazy so in tempted to see if my dad wants to come over for lunch (he usually brings something) but then I need to get reasonably presentable dilemma lol

DS woke up at midnight with a random nosebleed. It's nothing to worry about but it was scary at the time.

This is my last week of leave. I'm going to try to do some planning and organizing so that we have a chance of surviving the next few months.

J had that as a baby. It's really common. It has to do with their tear ducts being so small. He also had bad baby acne at the same time. It was not his cutest phase.

Ds1 had a blocked tear duct too. A little breast milk in the eye worked really well.

We deal with this a lot! I have to wipe her eyes all the time.

So we haven't DTD since the baby was born. There hasn't been a time yet where both kids are asleep, both adults are awake, neither adult is sick, and neither adult is pissed at the other. Apparently there was another factor I didn't know about. MH didn't think I was on bc; he thought we were waiting until he got his v in a few months! We still haven't met the first four conditions but at least he now knows that should the stars align he has the green light.

We've had a crazy busy last few days. I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding on Saturday. The weather ended up being perfect (it was an outdoor wedding) and it was fun to be kidless for a day. I did miss them though! Yesterday we spent most of the day relaxing and doing a few things around the house.
In at home today with the kids and the only thing on the agenda is to start working on details for DS' 2nd birthday party which is in a couple of weeks.

Glad I'm working from home this week. DS had a rough night last night. Not sure what's going on as Saturday night was rough too. At least I could just throw on clothes this morning to get them to daycare and not worry about looking presentable! (or getting breakfast)

I'm a tad worried when I go back to work. So I don't have a desk since they gave mine away (and now I have to figure out what they did with my stuff). I have 2 pumps so I want to keep one at work - and I also like to keep snacks in my desk. I guess I'll have to see if there is an empty cabinet or something I can use. We do have a pumping room I have not seen yet so I may be able to keep stuff in there. I think my co worker said it has a mini fridge.

ALSO - I applied to lots of jobs on Friday and already got called about one this morning. They wanted a few more examples of my work so hopefully they call me back for an interview!!

I'm sitting at work pumping and am reminded how much I love my Spectra after using my Freestyle at home this weekend. Too lazy to lug the Spectra back and forth but man I love this thing! I just get so much more so much quicker than with the Freestyle.

Lo slept really well in his sleep sack. He only woke to eat instead of the 1 hour of fussing before waking to eat. He's napping in it now.

There go my plans to take a much needed morning nap while L takes hers. Our back door neighbor is getting some construction work done ....sounds like drilling into concrete. Ugh.

Our new neighbors are doing a complete overhaul of the house.. Expected to go until I start back at work. Fun! I've just been running the AC nonstop.
