snoris Ridley bends over like that all the time. I just let her sit there like that for a while. She's now started picking her trunk up some to pull herself back slowly. And she rests on her arms some more. Based on what I've seen in her, I would assume it's a progression and needed to develop sitting up.
+1 I've found by letting DS fold briefly he is much more inclined to use his arms to push himself up and steady himself rather than be trying to place his arms for him lol
snoris, A does this too. Totally normal. I let her sit like that for a while then push her back up. Usually she ends up folding herself right in half again.
Thank youuuu!! We did lots of sitting today and he is getting better already. I almost wonder if I should have been doing this earlier. Well. He's also developing crazy fast right now so who knows. Um. He's also standing up while only holding onto my pointer fingers for balance. How is this possible?

My lo does this too. I don't remember ds1 standing so well so early, and he started walking at 10 months. I don't want an early mover.
