I'm back at work after a 4-day weekend. I should be busy but don't wanna. Help me ease back into work.

I just got back from a short run and am trying to cool off before I shower and get ready for the day.

I came into the office at 6 this morning to make up for being a total waste of space yesterday...and because I am meeting a friend for lunch, which may involve wine. I am excited because we are going to a place I have wanted to check out for years and it's a gorgeous day. The tough part is going to be coming back to the office after!

We were up the coast hanging out with family. Celebrated H's birthday Friday, mostly by eating. H's grandma doesn't travel much anymore but made the trek up (9 hr drive) with H's aunt and uncle so it was nice to be able to spend some time with her.

Me, too...still not totally confident that I can make it work long term. But, I really hope I can.  Now that I've tasted this life, anything else is going to be so hard to face!

I have decided that I'm going to start going to the gym again and I really need to buy some new workout clothes. Why is everything for women made to be so damn tight? Where do they sell the workout clothes for the women that need to go to the gym so they can eventually wear those fitted clothes without looking like a stuffed sausage?

I hear ya! I hate that stuffed sausage feeling. Unfortunately I have no good suggestions for you, except that I love my GapFit Barre leggings because they are a bit higher so don't cut me off around the muffin top. Still super tight though!

You inspired me to finally call and make an appt with a gym I'm thinking of checking out, so thank you!

I got 2 bills in the mail yesterday for the 2 E2 blood tests I had to do during my injectables cycle in June. They billed insurance over $800 for each. I'm responsible for $50 for each. I have never seen a single blood test that cost that much. I wonder if it's just that lab, which was new to me.

I'll have to check out those leggings. I can do tighter bottoms but I need them paired with a longer, baggy top. If I were to wear a tight top to the gym, I would be so self-conscious. And I would probably pass out from sucking in so much. I have come to accept that I will always struggle to find sports bras that work for me but I refuse to accept that I won't be able to find gym tops that aren't tight.

I find a lot of loose tops at Target, pretty much all my workout stuff is from there, actually.  They also have a high waisted version of their yoga pants that I really like, too.  I am super high waisted and anything lower on my hips risks plumbers crack big time.

Hi! My plans today include a few DIY things. I decided months ago I wanted to paint my kitchen cabinets. I've been trying numerous different techniques and paints and I think i finally found one I like. So I plan to practice on an old cabinet door one more time and start the real thing tomorrow. Eeeeeep!!

Haha I'm not good at it either. That's why I'm still practicing on cheap doors I bought at our Habitat Restore. Im so nervous I'll mess up our kitchen! Lol

Morning friends. I'm feeling weird and yucky today. CD1 never showed so I had to take provera to kickstart my period. I'm so tired of all the drugs!!

I'm running super late for work this morning and am not looking forward to the side eye I'm going to get from the office manager and our executive assistant when I roll in around 10.

MH is tattooing someone I really do not like today so I think I'm going to take the day off. I'm not great at being fake nice. I have the fake part down, it's just the niceness that I have to work on.
