Geez, it never even occurred to me to let my bank know. I've never been declined on vacation. But I have had my bank call me directly about suspicious activity. The latest time my card got compromised through one of those scanners scumbags place at the gas station pumps. They bought a bunch of $100 gift cards at a grocery store in the next town over. The bank had me on the phone within minutes and my card was frozen. I was also refunded the money.

I notified my bank, but my credit card company said notifications are not necessary for domestic travel. It seemed a little like overkill to me, but H was bugging me to do it.
The first time we went away to Savannah, H's bank called him and notified him of suspicious activity. Now we call his bank before we go away. Mine doesn't care, apparently. Hah.

I've had my cards decline so many times while travelling. I made my bank put a permanent note on my account to say that I was a flight attendant, but it didn't seem to matter. Annoying!
This day has been ridiculous. I woke up and while I was still lying in bed I heard "Mommy, did I flush pee in the potty all by myself?!" Meaning that A carried her potty full of pee to the bathroom and then dumped it into the toilet. This was as messy as it sounds.
Later, she peed again, and as soon as she stood up B dumped it all over the floor and started SPLASHING in it.
Then A crapped her pants (as per usual) so I cleaned her up and left her on the change mat because B dropped a sippy cup of milk and the lid came off. Once I had the milk all cleaned up, I went back to put new underwear on A and she was fast asleep, naked on the change mat. Haha.
We are going to Starbucks now. I have star rewards and I think that I need a venti.

PSA: Sam's Club has Carter's rompers that retail for $18 for $2.81. Stock up for next summer if you have a membership!! I bought six of them for less than the retail price of 1.
SoCal Ladies: There's a legit baby sample sale going on Saturday. If anyone goes, I will love you forever for grabbing me some June & January clothes and will send you money and some handmade-by-me goods in return (Longshot, but I had to put it out there in the universe)

Lol at my kid wearing a romper next summer. He'll be way too big for 24mo by then.
I took the glider and ottoman out of Cs room this afternoon. I/we haven't used it in quite a while. Instead I put his castle tent in the corner for a reading space. I hope I don't regret this!
I'm listening to the Hamilton soundtrack for the first time (billyhorrible who I know is a fan). Why did I wait so long? This is AMAZING.
Right? It's obsession worthy. Amazing AND educational. LBB made me tell him alllllll about the whiskey rebellion, slavery, Burr, Hamilton, Madison, King George, George Eckert, and Washington on our road trip, while he interjected lines from songs where he recognized the history.

Welcome to the club jessila! Today's mine and H's anniversary, so naturally I posted a comparison picture from our first month of dating vs now with the caption "look at where we are, look at where we started..."

What a great idea! We never use the glider and ottoman anymore, and we have a princess castle tent that is like the one you have. Did you order it on Zulily by any chance?

Jealous of those who don't use their rocker anymore. We're still up probably at least 50% of our nights. We're not taking ours to my moms because it's gigantic, and I'm super nervous about how we're going to do MOTN wakings. I guess hope they magically disappear over there all of a sudden?

When we're not at home I have to pace the floor. It's not easy on the back.
I cheated the Whole30 rules and weighed myself this morning- down 8lbs! I know it's probably mostly water weight but I don't care, seeing that # is great motivation to keep it up!
The other day DH and I booked a trip to the Wisconsin Dells with his best friend and his family. They have a J15 baby too! He's 6 days younger than C:)
That's so awesome! Congrats! How difficult has been so far? I don't think that I have the self control to do it!
Cute story, yesterday I was laying down with DS beside me and my shirt was flipped up a little. He started tracing stretch marks with his finger and asked "what happened to your tummy mom?" So I told him when him and DD lived there it stretched so big it left some marks behind. So he said "oh, ok!" And kissed it! And now he's just super lovey to my stomach in general, he had to show my H today and gave it a big hug when he did!
Today, we have supper plans as a family with a bunch of friends and their kids tonight out at a friend's farm. Should be fun!
This is probably the sweetest thing ever. How old is he?
