I had the worst day yesterday - it was a branch day and the first morning was a 2 hour walking tour in the hot sun. I get sick in the sun and was so sick for the rest of the day and night.
Now I don't want to be at work at all today. It's only 10am, I have a long way to go.
I have to drive home at lunch to swap cars with DH so I can pick the kids up at daycare later (he usually does drop offs/pick ups so the car seats are in his car). I'm debating coming back to work. Nausea hit full on this morning for me.
I am not productive lately. All I want to do is sleep. PGAL brain is creeping in now that it's been a week since the U/S and I am a little less nauseous than I was a few days ago. Can't wait for 2nd tri!

this is exactly how I'm feeling. plus I had some really light spotting this morning. so I'm chugging water and using my garbage can as a foot rest at my desk.

I pulled a granola bar out of the pantry this morning for a snack, but somehow it didn't make it to work. Now I'm counting down the minutes to lunch.
Also, today is our last full day in our current house! I can't believe it. Part of me is so sad to leave this house, it was "our" first house, and the one we brought DS home to, but part of me is also just really done to be living in chaos and be done with the move. Plus, it means we're down to only about five weeks until the new house is ready! I can survive living with my parents for that long, without booze, right?
So we lost power last night because of bad storms. We still don't have power. I apparently put my shirt on inside out. Damn getting dressed in the dark.

I got home to swap cars and decided not to go back to work. My boss is out today because her daughter was in a car accident yesterday (daughter was released from the hospital yesterday with just some bumps and bruises, but the passenger in the car is in critical condition) so I don't think she'll notice or mind. Just woke up from a 90 minute nap. It was glorious.
jnnfrrose6 that's so sad about your boss's daughter, even though she's okay that has to be so traumatic hope the passenger does okay. Glad you got a surprise nap in for the day, however sorry the circumstances
Today MH is working from home which is awesome since it's my day off (and ultrasound is today!!!). But tonight he has to leave for another work trip. It's a short one (he'll be back tomorrow night) but I still hate when he leaves and this is a bad month for work travel. Oh well, at least we have all day together and *fingers crossed* we get to see this baby today!!!

I've felt pretty good nausea wise the last 2-3 days but it came back in full force last night in the shower. Back to being sick after every meal. I'm hoping the mints I found will help. I'm supposed to eat dinner with my mom tonight at Chilis and I really don't want to feel sick there.

I'm almost back from my trip. Delta has messed up our return so DH might miss a scheduled work event. I think I'm more stressed about it than he is, though.
The leg and foot swelling is real. I've got compression socks on still while we wait for the second flight. If I cross my legs for 5 minutes my foot goes to sleep. I walked around but not sure that did much.
