What are you reading this week? How do you like it?

QOTW: What types of books do you bring on vacation? Books you would normally read, or something a little different?

I always bring two polar opposite books on vacation, just depending on my mood.

The last two books I finished are "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes - Lessons from the Crematory" (actually very funny and eye opening) and the last fiction I read were the two from JoJo Moyes, Me Before You and After You.

Still not sure what I think of the sequel. I liked the first part better.

QOTW: We're going to the beach in a week and I'm saving my HP and the Cursed Child for it. I try and bring fluffy read books and magazines.

Oooh, I'm excited to hear what you think. I can't decide if I want to read TCC because it feels like a diversion from canon. We'll see though. I'm letting other people read it first

I started reading Girls in the Garden (Lisa Jewell). It gets good reviews, but I don't think it's for me. I recently finished Invincible Summer (Alice Adams) which slightly more serious than I was expecting, but still a good read.
I bring books I would normally read on vacation. I also like to bring magazines with longer articles (Vanity Fair) because it makes the train/plane ride go a bit faster for me than the shorter ones do.

I'm about to start The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.

QOTW: I like to bring fluffy books on vacation too. I made the mistake of bringing a Jodi Piccoult book once and I was a bit down for a whole day.

I'm almost a week late but I'll answer anyway!

Current book is Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. I really love Brene's work, she is so knowledgeable yet very relatable and writes about things that have an effect on all of us. It's a great book so far.

QOTW - Typically I bring easy, leisure reading books when I'm on vacation, but it's been a while since I've been on vacation so I might change it up by the next time I go!
