I'm still into it with DH. God he's being an ass. We'd been really doing so well up until this surgery. His freakin mom is triggering him and he's got to learn how to not direct that at me.
Hooray for first steps tuscanlatte!! And hope you continue to feel better. Sorry your H is being an ass.
A woke up 3x last night and stood up in her crib and screamed. Each time, H laid her down and said "sleep" and she immediately fell back asleep. It took us much longer. I don't know what's going on, but I would very much like if she sttn tonight.
She's also fighting daycare on the transition from bottle to sippy cup. She drinks from it fine at home, I sent them a video of her chugging it at our last feeding. Hoping they can figure it out so we can get rid of the bottles.
ampaints, omg no more monkeys shitting in the tub. tuscanlatte, sorry to hear about wisdom teeth, hope you are feeling better, no more big macs that shit aint real. @mrspanpan, N's room is still an office with a changing table and an amore. dh has spent the last 2 days painting his duck boat. ampaints, so gross! Big glass of wine for you when you finish your reading. It could be worse though— when P shat in the tub, I was in there with her. Hopefully that was not the case for you.
I'm laughing out loud which likely does not bode well for my future.

Shitting in the tub. Happened to us with DS1's very first bath. We were in the NICU (obviously) and the second we got him in the water he pooped. Took him out, put fresh water in and he did it again.
First bath E had the nurse was carrying him to the tub and he shit all over her. Lol
I've had a really rough start to the week. Last night we were getting the kids ready for bed and suddenly I realized that the bedroom door was open and Abigail had wandered off. I was terrified that she had headed for the stairs and I went running out of the room to find her. Well, I tripped somehow in my panic and fell, hitting my forehead really badly on the frame of the closet door in the hallway. I opened up a pretty big gash on my forehead and had to go to the ER for 10 stitches. We almost called an ambulance but I was able to get the bleeding under control with constant pressure and a neighbor drove me to the hospital. They brought me back to a room immediately it was so bad. I'm still kind of in shock that this happened, but so grateful that Abigail is okay. Today I've just been trying to make it through the day and manage the pain.
I'm just hoping the scarring isn't too terrible from this.
Oh, and on a more positive note, Abigail had her 12 month checkup this afternoon. She's measuring in the 90-95th percentile for length (she's all legs), and she's now worked her way up to the 25th percentile for weight. That's a big deal for a girl who was steadily falling off the growth chart for weight in her first 4 months. At 4 months she was down to around the 5th percentile. Every checkup we've had since then she's slowly been moving back upward, so I was really psyched when they got her on the scale today. This girl loves to eat now!
H let M have too much to drink right veggie before bed, so I got to change M and his sheets at 3. Then right as I'm almost back asleep one of the cats decides to be an asshole and start meowing loudly. So much coffee needed.
aydee, I'm glad you're ok. Head wounds bleed a lot! I should know, I split my forehead open by jumping off someone's shoulders in a pool. Doc said if I didn't have as much alcohol in my system, I probably would have hurt my spine. I happened to be drunk at a pool party. 1 of my finer moments in my early 20's. I was rushed to the er where the doc said I needed a plastic surgeon. My scar is hardly noticeable now. I had 20 stitches on the outside and 5 under the skin. Did you have a plastic surgeon do the stitching?
Lots of Tylenol and rest for you. Then once stitches are out lots of cocoa butter and vitamin e capsules (pop a hole in it and rub the liquid over the scar).
