+1 to the shitty nights sleep club. W went down an hour late (just kept talking to himself and walking around his crib) and then woke up an hour earlier. 5 is not our new wake up time W!!!

Oh my god. I didn't sleep again last night and I feel like throwing up. The pain is awful. How the fuck am I going to do a bachelorette party tonight?!
I think w is sick. He is soooo fussy and has a really low grade fever. I think it's just enough to make him grumpy. He hit his head this weekend so I'm wondering if that could be from this (they said to watch for personality changes) but the fever is throwing me off. Would you guys call the pediatrician?

Wtf with all the bad sleep?! we need sleep!!
packmomma I'd say the head thing is probably not causing it or you would've noticed other symptoms and sooner. I would probably give Tylenol and see if it goes down, you can always call too though! I hope he feels better.

packmomma, I would do what tuscanlatte said. If the Tylenol doesn't help or the fever doesn't get better in a couple of days or gets worse, then I would call the ped.
Is he having any other symptoms other than being a fuss pot?
tuscanlatte and skinandbones thanks that's what I was thinking. No other symptoms other than fever and super fussy. He's usually such a happy baby but he just keeps screaming. We're watching Netflix while he nurses though so hopefully that just distracts him and he chills the fuck out.
ampaints, the site visit was good. I love seeing how things are put together. And the equipment is so cool, I'm telling you, playgrounds now a days are so much better than the ones we grew up playing on!
Sorry for all the crap sleep. You can add me to that club. Part of it was my fault. I was up late editing some pictures I took of M yesterday and making thank you cards for his party. After, what should have been a simple task, and it turned into an exercise in frustration, I decided to have a glass of wine and watch TV. Sigh that turned into 3 glasses and close to 3 episodes of How to Get Away with Murder. I finally went to bed and M decided to get up multiple times too. Send the coffee. I want to nap, but we are meeting a friend later today at a children's museum.

@janetheconquerer, I've ordered the cake. Well, I had my mom order it. Apparently their area isn't up on online ordering. I'm going to run out and buy some decorations tomorrow. Food we will purchase once we get to my parents but I'm not really sure what's on the menu. We talked about a taco bar.
That's as far as I've gotten. My mom mentioned games for some of the kids (I think we may have 2 other kids if BIL doesn't show, a million if he does). I have no ideas.
I'm not ready for him to turn 1. Not ready at all. He's my last baby. While I think even if financial we could have a third, I'm not sure I want to go through the adjustment again. This year has been so tough. But I want all the babies. I have lots of feels about this.
Sorry for all the crappy sleep last night. So many of you had terrible nights.
packmomma I doubt the fever today is due to the head bump from the weekend. Teething could cause a low grade fever and fussiness. I would give tylenol, offer a cold teether, and monitor the situation. I hope you're able to nap today when he does.
Just put W down for a nap after he bit me twice while nursing. I had the weirdest feeling that my dog was in the corner sleeping but she never does that without us. Yep instincts were right. She was sleeping behind the chair. Glad I checked!

So Little Bones has started complaining about hair in his face. I've told DH repeatedly we need to get his hair cut but DH is super resistant. Whatever, hair is not my hill.
Little asked me to pull his hair back today but I don't have rubber bands small enough (I can only get the top half of his hair). What kind of rubber bands can I use? I only buy big ones since I have so much hair.
DH is now on board with a hair cut but I don't think we will have the time until next week.

I buy the little hair elastics from the dollar tree for jacks hair. They're one time use but they work great
