My 15 year old niece went missing this weekend. She has now been gone for about 4 days. It originally looked like a runaway but some information has developed that seems to say otherwise. However, the police refuse to issue an amber alert unless they are 100% certain she was abducted. My family is worried sick. I can't sleep and I can't focus on work worrying that she is hurt. Please send your prayers our way and pray for a safe return.
UPDATE: She was found alive and well!! She was found by state troopers yesterday in Tennessee. She was with the older man who two days ago told police he didn't know where she was. She resisted arrest and spent the night in Juvi. I haven't heard if she is home yet. I know police were unwilling to release her yesterday out of fear she will run again. The man is being charged with contributing to a minor, kidnapping (because he took her across state lines) and possibly rape. I have gone from being so worried and upset and envisioning her dead in a ditch....and now I want to kill her for what she has done to her family. How can she go home now? Her school was having prayer circles and assemblies for her. Her mother and brothers cried to days. I hope she's embarrassed and I hope she feels bad. But the sad truth is she will probably run again. Thank you all for your prayers and warm wishes. They worked and we got our girl back safe and sound. Now comes figuring out how to fix whatever the problem is.
