Decided to stop ignoring the little lights in my car and take t in for an oil change and tire check... It's going to take an hour! and this place smells like tires so bad...
DH is gone all day, which conveniently falls on the day I have my weekly phone call with my boss (I work remotely). The call also happens to fall smack in between naps, so I have to find a way to keep DD entertained for half an hour while I try to think and talk like an adult. We're considering day care a couple times a week once baby #2 arrives and I head back to work (b/c working while taking care of 1 baby is one thing..but working while taking care of a baby and a toddler is just not possible). DH was supposed to be home in the mornings so I could work, but he is just working too much to be able to depend on him being available on a regular basis.
Otherwise, my awesome brother is coming over after bedtime to babysit so DH and I can go out to dinner! We get to go out to eat childless every 4-6ish months, so I'm looking forward to it.
This title it perfect. I dreamt I was in a cooking contest and I had to make 5 giant size soft tacos. And I didn't have any good ingredients to work with.
mikaela20 it's so bad I'm trying not to focus on it. I thought about going for a walk but it's a high traffic industrial area without sidewalks so it would be an awkward walk. How do these guys work here? So stinky!

DH ate the last 2 pieces of bacon and I didn't know this until I already started toasting my English muffin for a sandwich. I was so sad. I ended up eating it with turkey which is not an ideal breakfast food.
ladytiffany24 I made some for dinner last night. They are much better at McDonald's!
kaits8 hope the call goes okay, and have fun at dinner!
Normal day here. Work, and then more work.
Possible trigger below- awful news story mentioned.
****
There was a newborn found dead in a duffel bag down the street from my house yesterday. While I would normally find this upsetting (who wouldn't) being pregnant has totally amplified the feeling. It actually makes me feel kind of physically sick.
Someone just asked me to cover court, and Im in some awful in between pants. Really hoping I don't see anyone I know bc I feel huge. I wouldn't mind feeling huge if I was past 12 weeks and I felt comfortable telling people but that day is not today.

I usually let her at the diaper bag or my purse. She loves pulling stuff out/putting it back. Might get you 30 minutes.
Ugh, sorry mosdub. I'm gagging just thinking about it.
Omg glb30, that news story is horrible. I have no words. I hope you get in and out of court today without seeing anyone!
I started diclegis 8 days ago jnow and only just started to notice a difference. I'm glad you're feeling better but don't worry if you don't notice a big difference in coming days. The interwebs tell me it takes at least a week to fully work.
glb30 stories like that make me so mad. If you don't want your baby, leave it at a church, police station or fire station and give it a chance at life. I will never understand why this happens.
I had an ultrasound this morning and all looks good. I'll update the appointment thread. I'm taking DS to get his haircut (which he hates - last time he started screaming "bye!" Buh-bye!" as soon as we walked in!) and then hitting a farmer's market. I'm hoping I can get though all this before starting to feel sick again.
I've officially listened to Fox News talking about the SAME EXACT STUFF regarding Trump and Clinton for over an hour, and I've been sniffing tire fumes the whole time. Might need to treat myself after this.
