@suesposa come on over. I have some stuff to help fix your problem.
Lol gladly! Hows your tiny doing today?
She is doing well!! Just wants to be held and comfort nurse which is fine by me. However that doesn't help me clean my bathroom which is in desperate need ( because H is gross)
My PP cramping lasted for about a week and then stopped for two weeks. I started having a lot more cramping today and yesterday. I wonder if it's related to PP recovery or if my PCOS is giving me issues already. 😒

Does she like being worn? I'm not sure if you use natural cleaners or not, but I wore LO yesterday while I cleaned. I also wore him while I peed. He made it awkward because he stared me dead in the eyes the entire time.
My kids started with me peeing while being worn and they still won't leave me in peace to pee.
I figure by 11 they won't want to see that anymore, right?

We are dealing with horrible diaper rash over here. Poor baby screams so much when he poops and all during a diaper change. He's also going all the time (like 12 plus times a day) so I can't keep it dry. We went to the pedi Monday and started a probiotic. I just feel so bad so his little butt!

kokopelli I'm always saying I don't want a kid to be my excuse to let the house go to shit. So I pick up quick 5 minutes here and there, nothing major. Well my cousin just came vervto visit and first thing she said was "how is your house so clean?!" It totally made my day!!
@suesposa dc2london mine has always done the back arch, poop freak out, and lots of spit up. I'm on week 4 without dairy and it doesn't seem to be helping at all. Yet I can't bring myself to eat it because all I can think is he's in pain, what if it makes it even worse? So yea, this sucks wicked bad lol
My super soaker boobs have really kicked into gear and are properly spraying C in the face and throat now And she has started making a scrunchy "yuck" face on her sleep sometimes like maybe she is having some reflux? I am wondering if I am lookingvat a 3 for 3 dairy intolerance situation.
I feel like we may be experiencing something similar and its giving me all the sads. LO has never spit up but has started arching after some feeds. And cries bloody murder when he's pooping. The only thing I've done differently the past few days is eat an ungodly amount of cheese pizza, cookies, and milk. It's been so long since I've had good dairy. I hope its not being taken from me already.
My pedi told me reflux usually picks up around 2 weeks so she's not overly concerned right now. She said to start trying gripe water or probiotics to see if that helps. I'm praying it does.
C isn't doing any of those things (yet) but has done that choking/gagging thing a couple of times and I think I am just on super high alert bc the other two had dairy issues.

What are you using on it? Ive been using coconut oil as a preventative. Can you recommend a probiotic? I need to order one today. LO has been having some tummy issues. I hope the rash clears soon!
We started with a&d, then balmex, then max strength desitin. The doctor actually recommended using Maalox topically on it to combat the acidity in poop. It's such a process to do a diaper change using a q tip to swab it on and waiting for it to dry without getting peed on, while he is screaming nonstop.
The probiotic I bought is Mommy's Bliss. It was the only liquid infant one I found when I checked 2 stores. The dr mentioned one called bio gaia or something like that, but I couldn't find it in store and wanted to start one as soon as possible to try to help.
Today is DH's bday. I made his favorite cake (German chocolate) from scratch. I also made cilantro pesto, which I will be putting on grilled rack of lamb, and a Moroccan vegetable tagine. Thank god DD likes the Moby wrap.

Can you let him do his tummy time naked on a waterproof pad? Putting baking soda in the bath water helps with diaper rash too
spicysalmonroll awww I'm sorry. That sounds awful. Are you going to try to eliminate anything else from your diet? Your pedi hasn't recommended meds? My pedi said she doesn't prescribe zantac anymore because her patients weren't seeing a difference. I'm fine with trying the probiotics and switching up my diet a little, but if it doesn't work I'm gonna push to try the zantac.
We saw about a 50% improvement on Zantac with DD2. People saw it immediately who were not us.
I still am unsure if she had reflux, but it helped.
Dairy and soy elimination did nothing, and I was hyper strict.
ETA: weirdly enough probiotics made her worse. I have an IRL friend who had the same experience.

dc2london, we did do that do a bit last night - used one of the ones the hospital sent me home with! Ds2 was NOT a fan haha. Today I started using wet cloths intead of baby wipes, which seemed to lessen the screaming a bit.
dc2london, damn, you really are a super mom! Happy birthday to your H!
@suesposa, now you just need to learn to (if you haven't already, which I have never attempted) nurse with baby in the wrap and you will be a super ninja mommy!
Hi everyone. Congrats hashbrownnofilter on your kiddo's arrival! Color me jealous, your due date was a day ahead of mine.
Not much going on here today... my mom's neighbor is a real sweetheart with kids outgrowing a bunch of books, videos, and toys, and she loaded me up with a box of goodies for DD. I am most excited about the books, really. I feel kind of guilty but this family is pretty well off (dad's a surgeon) and they have such lovely hand me downs. We got a small play kitchen for Christmas this year from my step bro and his wife, but this family has one like 3 times the size with bells and whistles and DD beelined for it. It was offered to us, and I am seriously considering accepting it. I just feel greedy!
Walked up and down the dirt road between houses a couple times, and I feel like my hips are about to fall apart. I can see why they say to walk a lot to induce labor. Oof. I am thinking the hardest baby thoughts I possibly can.
@suesposa, we started DD on Zantac last Saturday and we have seen some improvement with her reflux (not completely gone but better). It helped DD1 too (didn't work for DD2). Hope his reflux gets better!
@suesposa she has an abdominal incision from surgery so they told me not to wear her because the friction could cause the incision to open. But she loves to be worn!! I usually clean and take a shower at same time so I'd rather her take a nap anyhow.
@suesposa I'm using the biogia probiotic and I am happy with them.
redhead610, can you lay him on a towel and let his butt be open to air for a bit? DD spent most of her time in the NICU with her butt up in the air due to a diaper rash and it really helped. Also rinse out your wipes and put them in a ziploc bag. The wipes sting so washing them out makes it not hurt so bad. Hope he heals up soon!
spicysalmonroll I hate not having a picked up house before I go to bed!! So it always ends up tidy at the end of the day, I just have 3 wrecking machines that counteract most my day cleaning. I hate for h to come home to a trashed house. He wouldn't say anything but I'm sure it is unpleasant to work 10 hrs the walk into toys everywhere. Once we get baby back on schedule it won't be a big deal. But I'm with you, I swear by doing 10 minutes throughout day and deep clean 1 or 2 things every day.
bocaburger , Mazel tov hummingbird125 , I hear you on the sleep deprivation. DD was a preemie with reflux and there were times when I felt like a walking zombie. Keep faith that it will get better.
Congratulations @hashbrownfilter.
Completely unrelated to pregnancy I'm feeling incredibly sad today after learning that the cousin of a beloved coworker committed suicide at 27. I know that so many things are beyond a parent's control but this girl's parents went through an ugly divorce and the dad's new wife wanted nothing to do with her. I hope that at whatever age they are my children can turn to me if they're feeling hopeless.

That's so heartbreaking. Love to your coworker and her family.
Rama, Knowing my coworker and her family a little, I know they would have helped her in any way they could. Heartbreaking how a young woman would feel so helpless and desperate.

I totally wore DD while using the restroom, #1 lol!!!

Party at DC's house! And happy birthday to your H!
B slept in the RNP for months. Our pedi never said she couldn't sleep there or discouraged it. This kid takes such better naps in the RNP than he does sleeping in the PNP. I was going to switch, but now I'm anxious about putting him in the RNP at night. Google is no help. Is the RNP a huge no-no?
