I have a UO... I like commuting to work and I don't mind traffic. I love me some alone time with either the radio or an audio book. I especially like it in the afternoon after a shitty day at work-- I don't have to immediately pick up my kid and it gives me time to separate work and home.
I should note that I only go in to the office 3 days a week (work from home the other two) and I work atypical office hours of 6-2:30 so I usually miss rush hour on both ends. Our office also just moved and cut my commute down by 20 min in the AM and 30 min in the PM, so that is a major plus.
UO - I don't really care for Fall or look forward to it. It's cold, muddy and gross 90% of the time and pretty only about 10% of the time. I seem to get sick *every* single fall. I also hate being cold and the pretty leaves changing doesn't last as long as it should to be enjoyed. Fall basically sucks.
gingerspice2 I have a super short commute but occasionally I have to drive 3 hrs each way for work and I really enjoy it. It's usually a pretty scenic drive and I blast music or listen to podcasts and get paid for the time. I hate driving in traffic though.

20 minutes of my commute both coming and going are spent going 3 miles. The other 20 minutes are spent going the other 20 miles it takes to get into work. If I didn't have 20 minutes of stop and go, I'd love my commute too.
I like fall but don't look forward to it. Only cause winter follows it. I'd love it if winter wasn't a thing and we went right from fall to spring. I hate the cold, snow, ice, stomach virus season (big huge phobia of mine)... HATE winter and sad it ruins my excitement for fall lol
