Glasses adjusted, party decorations bought, shoes and socks for C (he hates them), dinner for the next 2 nights bought and almost home. It's been busy afternoon.
So yea, we haven't put anything on C's feet for an entire year. He screams bloody murder at the socks and shoes and curls his toes.

So sleepy. DD was up a few times last night fussing...I think it was a mixture of her shots yesterday and teething, oy.
I packed about 1/3 of our kitchen today, then loaded up the kids and went to the house to set everything up for DH. He's in the office today, then he's mopping the floors and painting our bedroom. So I taped all the trim and got everything ready for him. Now we're back, DD is down for a nap, DS is playing PBS Kids games and I'm on the couch trying not to pass out haha.

Busy weekend so far! Last night I went with a friend to be her 'wingman' to meet a guy she met online. Turns out he lives around the corner from me, so we went for porch drinks. I felt slightly hung over this morning, but thankfully I was able to sleep in and DH got up with M. Also M had the biggest meltdown last night right before I was heading out (he was sleeping) . He was inconsolable, I have no clue what was happening. I expected to see new teeth this morning, but still bumps.
Party prep day for me today. I'm really excited for M's birthday party tomorrow. We are expecting 25-30 and it's supposed to rain. Inside is not that big, so FX it doesn't actually rain or doesn't rain too bad and people can still be on the covered patios!

I'm pooped. We walked all around Philadelphia today seeing the historic sites and then we toured the new temple. It's nooooooooo beautiful on the inside! Jack did so good all day! Now we're headed home, were somewhere around DC.
Thanks all, it looks like he is spending the night with possibly pleurisy. @janetheconquerer, h is good but his gp was too quick to put him on bp med and statin 3 mos post op when his #'s were borderline and I feel he should have been givin three more mos to est lifestyle changes. BUT WHAT DO I KNOW.
The zoo was fun. Hot, but not as hot as it has been. M was interested in animals mostly if they were moving.
We went to dinner at a friend's. When H first mentioned it dinner was at 6:30. Then it's dinner is at 7:15-7:30. We end up being the first couple there and dinner wasn't had until about 8:30 M did well though and let me eat most of my food. I really hope M sleeps well tonight. I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst since I kept him out almost 2 hours past bed time. It was nice to actually make it to an event at a friend's house though, I've been missing most of those for the past year.

So almost exactly a year ago I was being induced. What a crazy feeling. This year has gone by too fast for me to really appreciate. We have W's 1 year pictures tomorrow (a day early) and I'm pretty excited to see how they turn out.
My daytime cocktail made me tired. I'm old. The aquarium was crowded but good. C tried a Belgium waffle from a food truck and thought it was great! She was afraid of the splash pad we found. I need to find one with more tame water pressure.
I made it! Still felt not great so no drinking but it was a really nice wedding.
Omg ds was killing it in his bow tie.
The funniest thing happened at the ceremony. Ds was ring bearer so was standing with me up front, and DH and DD were seated in the middle. During the ceremony, DD started to fuss a little and Burke stood up, looked around the crowd then shouted "LILS!! CALM DOWN!" Everyone couldn't stop laughing.
I've been up half the night with a baby who can't stop coughing. Then had to load the kids in the car at 4:15 to take H to the airport. Kids slept entire time. Got home and they're awake.
I stopped at the nearest Dunkin and they were closed at 5:37 am... seriously??? Do people not need coffee at 5:37 am?
tuscanlatte You all look great! I'm so glad you recovered enough in time for the wedding.
@janetheconquerer Sorry about the rough night and the early morning. I hope you can find some coffee somewhere. How long is your H out of town this time?
