Who wants to talk names? What's on your short list? What's on your long list? What's your guilty pleasure name that you're tempted to use but probably won't?

Top of my boys list right now is Malachi. (nn Kai)
I like long names and DH likes short names. So that makes this super difficult.
My guilty pleasure name is Francesca but we'll never use it because we have an Irish last name and I think it just sounds super strange with such an Italian first name.

Sorry to post and run. Crazy toddler day.
We're pretty stuck on Margot for a girl for some reason.
If it's a boy, we are going to have a real challenge. I like Charles (Charlie), Julian, and Graham, but they've all been nixed for mostly good reasons. (My DS is named Oscar, btw.)
My guilty pleasure names are all earthy: Forrest, Juniper, Luna, etc. I think ultimately we're too boring, though I would like to pick a name that's not too high on the charts.

For a girl I think we both like Cora Margaret. For a boy we like Nolan or Cole but can't agree on a middle name. I like David after my brother who my parents lost before I was born. DH likes Eugene after his grandfather who passed away last summer. I also loved DH's grandpa but I do not like Eugene as a middle name. I feel like he'll get teased mercilessly for it. To get DH over to my side on a boy's middle name, I might tell him we can do Cora Marilyn since that was his grandmother's name. I don't like it as much but at least I don't hate it.
I also really like Ramona for a girl but DH doesn't like it as much.

I have a Mason, Ava and Aiden.
Im really liking Ellie for a girl. Dh isn't sold.
He likes Cameron and Jackson for boys, but in not in love. We have middle names already bc we use family names and the only side of the family not represented is my moms so Kathleen for a girl bc it's my moms middle name and my grandmas first name, and David after my moms dad.

^^^ Those are my favorite kind of names! I'm pushing for Marigold hard for a little girls middle name.

Did I mention I secretly just want to be a hippy
Yesssss do it! We really thought about Forrest with DS. Damn Forrest Gump.
We were team green with dd. Her name wasn't even on our short list (although we had talked about it before). She just didn't seem like any of the short list names we had. We had only agreed on one for a boy last time. We have t talked about it again yet

My ds is Hudson, dd is Norah. I think sibling names should "go together". I am not set with anything but we like Lincoln for a boy and audra for a girl. That list will totally expand. Girls names are SUPER hard for us.
DS wasn't named till the night before we left the hospital.. When that birth certificate information HAD to be filled out. We were down to 2 but couldn't commit. Going to try very hard not to do that again!
We have no real list yet this time. Hubs really liked skylar if it was a girl. I was against it then but I like it now. Not sure if he's still liking it.
Our DS is *poof*. Our girl name has always been Emily. We have talked about boy names and are leaning toward David but no decisions have been made. Other considerations: Adam Benjamin Peter Gregory Daniel Jeremy
Our last name doesn't lend itself to a lot of first names and I don't want match with DS beginning with S or ending in -en. Naming kids is hard.

DD is Penelope and goes by Penny. I loved Bennet the first time around for a boy, but Ben and Penny doesn't sound good to me. I can't imagine having to find common ground on a name with someone. Compromise is hard!

We are team green again. DD is Evelyn. Our boy name is Henry Edward (family name). Our girl names are Violet, Josephine and Eloise. DH is pushing hard for Eloise but I would like to avoid another "E" name.

All very beautiful names. I don't think the E thing is necessarily a bad thing. Are you and H E names?
H and I have the same letter first name and I can't decide if we are going to continue the same letter thing.
I think our big decision is if we're sticking with the trend or not. Both of our names start with the same letter. And our sons happens to be the same also... Only cause we liked the name. Now we can't decide if we 'have to' stay with the same letter or let baby #2 be different then the rest of us lol.
