1. Illness. OMG the illnesses in my house. Every single person aside from me has been diagnosed with strep AND hand, foot, mouth (HFM)this week.
2. Naturally, L has HFM worse than anyone - she has huge blisters on her hands, feet, and throat. She can barely move her hands and it is painful to walk. She was laying be bed crying when I left (I left her with lots of cold drinks, lots of Tylenol, Benedryl, and ice packs for her hands. I'm hoping she sleeps most of today thanks to the Benedryl.
3. I am praying 12.5 years working in a pediatricians office has kept me immune.
4. But every twinge has me wondering if I am going to be the next to fall. But I can't until L is back and running. She doesn't do well with illness and whenever we've both been sick at the same time (2-3x in 10y) I am always the one to suck it up and take on the kids.
5. I go to NYC in 3 weeks with friends. Seriously, it is what is keeping me going as I am playing nurse/parent/chauffeur/chef to everyone in my house. I've been to 4 urgent care appts in the past week and made 5 trips to the pharmacy.
6. I bought fire engine red pants a few weeks ago for $5. I am debating wearing them tomorrow. I don't have anything to match, but a black cardigan. I am worried I will look like a ladybug.
7. I am ready for fall. I love fleece (hello, lesbian.)
8. My throat is getting more and more sore the longer the day goes on....
9. I got to work late this morning because I had to take L to urgent care again. I can't believe I have only been here 3 hrs. I feel like I have been here forever.
10. Just got a phone call from school. Nearly gave me a panic attack (thought someone was being sent home for being sick.) Turns out I wrote they were being picked up when school gets out vs going to after care. Duh. But at least no one needs to be picked up from school. Phew.
1. Oh my goodness 2brides, I hope your home is cleared of the sickness soon. I can't imagine dealing with all that at the same time.
2. Mom went to her post op apt and had her 20-something staples removed. So far so good!
3. Thursday is my real estate license test so tomorrow will be cramming all day.
4. Even though I've been an agent for almost 8 years we do not use most of the technical terminology so I have to study.
5. We're finally seeing Ghostbusters tonight!
6. We're going to our favorite theater where you can order food and drinks and enjoy the comfy recliners.
7. Trying to decide which dishwasher to buy is ridiculous. Every time I think I've narrowed it down I find another model that has better reviews or more features. I need to just stop looking and buy one.
8. We're going to meal plan next week. We'll see.
9. I'm so ready to get this PUPO show on the road. Only 6ish more weeks if everything goes according to plan!

1. So little sleep last night. Wondering if Is is teething early.
2. Started a CD service today, unimpressed with the quality.
3. We are going to a music festival this weekend, excited and also nervous to see how Is will do out all day/night. We'll practice getting her used to the noise cancelling headphones this week.
4. I've started writing again which feels good.
5. Also making more weekday plans with friends/play dates.
6. Even though I got a total of 3.5 hours sleep last night I gpt s surprising amount done.
7. Missed a pump though.
8. I recommend the book "The Little Old Lady Who Broke All The Rules."
9. I have no clue what to have for dinner.
10. Happy Tuesday everyone! (A.k.a. at least it's not Monday day.)

bexincanada, We've been trying to use cloth diapers more when we're home but this week she was leaking through them frequently. Do you have that problem? Any tips?

I was going to say that kona is tge resident cloth expert. We're going to ditch the service and buy our own since the fit isn't right. Recommendations for a string bean baby kona?
O was a skinny baby and workhorses and prefolds with covers worked well for us. We have RaR AIO as well (mostly for other caregivers) and they didn't fit well till about a year.
ETA I'm honored you think I'm the cloth diaper expert!

I just bought 10 Alva cloth diapers for $40.... Brand new, have you heard anything anout this brand? We registered for a bunch of all in ones, but thought I'd try some insert ones too.
From what I've heard they work well. They may not last for the long haul but at that price you could buy new if they wear out. You may like the ability to stuff them based on the absorbency you need.

Yea! The bum genius all in ones allow you to stuff extras if needed.
