It's only 3:30 my time but no fucks given because I have 4 days off and Ima do what I want.  Time to pour myself a drink and play with my Ipsy glam bag.  I hope to look something like this by the time MH gets home to take me to IKEA and get my shark.

What are you guise drinking to kick off the weekend?

We're visiting the ILs this weekend and they don't usually have the best selection (H and I may be alcohol snobs...) so H has suggested we bring them a good bottle of whiskey for a Christmas present.

Has anyone had Captain Morgan private stock? Add it to DP and you have a boozy vanilla rum DP.

I'm usually a red girl, H is a little picky, whites are usually safer...I may argue that there won't be a good way to keep the white chilled at the potter studio

Who has tried the paint and drink events that seem to be the rage? I can't draw a straight line with a ruler ... But wine makes me a great dancer, so why not a great painter too?

Ooooh, me! I love doing Paint Nite at a tapas place downtown. Great food, great sangria, and I've ended up with some decent artwork to hang up.

I've done one. My picture actually came out better than I expected and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! It was a private party with my mom, aunts, and girl cousins so it was a nice get together.

I have no idea what to do with my painting now though.

I've done it and loved it.  They walk you through step by step how to layer the paints, mix em, etc.  I usually start doing my own thing and add in fun little surprises to my art work.  A drunk "I Spy", if you will.

Wine tasting in my apartment building tonight. Our friend organized it and brought in 60 bottles from South Africa. I'm super excited and hoping there will be some left to buy. We should be tasting mostly reds so hoping for some good Pinot noirs.
