I got another!
I'm pretty sure I give the baby pain meds too often. He'll seem a little fussy, biting, drooling so I think it's teething. Give him some meds. Except a tooth won't pop through in a reasonable amount of time. I hear some moms say they know when it's teething pain. I can't figure out when my baby is being a jerk or in pain.

Once again, twins.
What's wrong with C, he didn't sleep, runny nose, slight cough, cry when eating, tugging at ears? Must be teething give him Tylenol. Oh he's awake smiling, give him Tylenol, must be teething.
I might be over dramatic right now but you get my point.
FFTC: I still haven't done thank you noted from Beau's party and now I've forgotten who got him what
I'm a horrible debutante.
Last month, I found a stack of half of my thank you notes from my baby shower that were never sent. (Written and addressed, but never mailed.) In my defense, I had a very late shower, and two days after my shower I ended up in L & D. I feel bad, but it's been over a year now, so I think it's too late. At least I had opened the gifts in front of people and thanked them all in person in the moment.

I worry/ suspect that I do this too. I end up giving Poppy Motrin several nights a week because I always think she's teething. also just give her night time gripe water and Camilia as a part of her bedtime routine, and have since she was about 4 months. She only has four teeth so far and the first didn't come in until she was 8 months.

I just found some Christmas cards that I didn't send. My confession is I'm too cheap and lazy to actually mail these type of things, so they sit on my counter until I remember to see the person. I did the same with the invitations to the birthday party. I will probably do the same with these thank you cards. At the end of the day making the cards is more about me than other people! Lol

I'm only a few chapters in but the new Harry Potter book is not capturing my imagination 😱😱😱. The script format is different.. I wish I could just go see the play live!
I'm thinking about not sending thank you cards for DS1.
I didn't for either kid this year... or last year now that I think of it . I thanked them all profusely at the time gifts were given. That's good enough for us.
Sorry, but I just don't have time to write, address, and mail cards after I already thanked you.
Receiving too. I know you aren't an asshole, I don't need a card to remind me. Although I do appreciate confirmation that my gift arrived.
My husband is obsessed with sending thank yous.
To me, a phone call that we received your gift and loved it or will spend it on xxx item is almost better than a card (all our family is far away so there is no in person thanking)

+1 to all of it. Except YH's obsession. This is definitely not MH.
He's southern and mil is very proper so I'm guessing it's just how he was raised. My family is rude-ass Yankees.
I sent my husband nudes on Wednesday while he was golfing on a league. It was towards the end of the evening. He said he grabbed his clubs off the cart and drove straight home. He said he didn't finish the last (golf) hole. Literal "score" for me.

I'm already planning what I'm going to drink during nap time..... tomorrow.
I already know I'm having a bloody Maria Sunday morning. We finally have tequila again. Just have to leave myself enough time to sober up before my cousins baby shower in the afternoon.
I am so thankful to have a 3 year old that still naps/stays in bed from 12PM - 3PM, and my 1 year old who naps during that same time. My tan is on point this summer.

+1. Except the tan part, I'm practically translucent. I've been napping or reading everyday and it's been fabulous. I should do something productive but I tell myself that I have to be quiet so I don't wake anyone up. When I pulled out all the sleep stuff to read yesterday it said that most drop their nap around age 4. We're a full year away from that but I'm already sad about it.

Don't fret! Once they're four you can give them a tablet, netflix and make them lie in your bed with you while you nap

I have been trying to recharge non-rechargable batteries for months. They have been leaking and bursting, and I thought the charger was broken. A quick google search told me the angry red light flashing on the charger means "bad battery." I read the fine print on the batteries...do not charge.

+1. We almost never gave DS any meds, and now I feel like we're giving them to DD too much. But DS's teeth broke through very quickly, and he pretty much had a full set by his 1st birthday. With DD, those damn teeth seem to take a month (or two or three) to come in every time. So yeah, Tylenol because she's fussy and I figure it must be teething.
This makes me want to teach you. Not to toot my own horn but I'm a parking pro.
I use too drive a sedan, I was a pro at parking that baby
I was a terrible parker in my sedan. My new SUV is a nightmare. But hey, I'm getting extra exercise by parking in the wayyy back where there are no other cars. Silver lining?
