I made my own nursing cover. It works good. But I only occasionally used it. Mostly I didn't bother covering. It's not like I flopped my whole boob out for the world. I mean at first it's tough but you get the hang of it fast. I only occasionally got weird looks but I just ignored them.
This week I got a new sit and stand stroller in the mail from my brother. Super excited because I really wanted one. We tried it out Thursday with our Lo and she definitely liked it too.
Babies R Us sells some infinity scarf nursing covers in basic colors (I think just black and gray) for pretty cheap. I obviously haven't tried it out yet but it's pretty soft.
I have one of these, but off Amazon. I love scarves, so this was the perfect choice for me. Super soft!
Welcome joy! I hope baby comes sooner rather than later for you! My DD was supposed to be a July baby and turned into August so I remember how it feels for everyone to be experiencing newborn life without you. Good luck on making your induction decision. I had to be induced with DD and am happy to talk things through if you need an ear.
So since Google is zero help I'll ask you guys. I started losing my muscus plug last night. We're supposed to go swimming at my in law's pool today (private pool at their house.) Is it safe to go swimming or do I risk infection? Google is being inconsistent and it's not an emergency situation enough to call the on call nurse. I'd like to as it's going to be 90 degrees today but if there's even a slight risk I don't want to chance it. Thoughts?

I'd say it's ok. People lose their plug really early and I'm sure still use the pool. If it were me I'd still go swimming in my pool!

I'd still go swimming. Baby is still nice and protected in the amniotic sac.

Yeah I texted my sister-in-law who is an RN and she said as long as my water isn't broken I'm good. I might play it safe though and get in only to cool off.

singingsea, I'd also say it's fine. What everybody else said, but also, it usually comes out in pieces. So it's likely that there's more there "plugging" things, so to speak.
