It's a work in progress, but we are in the house. Looked up this morning and DS was standing on the front porch...apparently the dead bolt unlocks when you pull the handle from the inside. So things like that keep popping up and taking us away from actually unpacking. But my MIL is coming tomorrow so hopefully things will get moving a bit more with an extra set of hands.

Thanks for asking!
Holy shit! That's scary!
Yeah! I'm glad I wasn't in the bathroom or something because he loves running toward the street. He was very proud of himself though lol.
How do you cope with it? I have sciatica or spd. I don't think the dr actually knows but I was taken off work several weeks ago. I have a really hard time dealing with it because it hurts constantly.

I just try to take lots of breaks and honestly just walk through it. It truly awful and I hope it doesn't get worse when I give birth. You can put a low heat setting heated pad on your hips/pelvic area when you're really sore or in pain.
Does anyone have linea negra yet? I don't remember when I got it last time and I don't have it yet.
Oh yea. It's been there for a while now. The lower half showed up first and probably a month+ before I started noticing the line above my belly button as well.

Holy shit the heartburn was unreal last night. I was sitting on the couch and realized it felt like I was having a hard time breathing, but couldn't figure out why. Assumed the little guy had stretched and was pushing my diaphragm or something. Moving, stretching, nothing was helping so I tried to go to bed (it was about 10:30). Finally fell asleep then woke up around 1-1:30 feeling like my esophagus was ON FIRE!!! Think I was awake for a good hour before I finally got myself propped up enough to fall back asleep though the pain. Thankfully woke up this morning feeling fine.
Typically I just don't feel well when I get heartburn or I start burping a lot, but this was ridiculous!

Huh, I guess I won't get it this time then. Weird. Also, you have all my sorrys for the heartburn. That's pretty much me every night and it sucks!

Every night??? I am unbelievably sorry to hear that. I'm soooo hoping this was a one time deal. If not, I'm stealing MH's second pillow to prop myself up even more.
Next appointment: Tuesday for regular weekly check-in
Symptoms/how are you feeling? My shoulders and hips are getting sore from sleeping on the same side all the time and some mild reflux, but otherwise I'm feeling pretty good!
Rants/raves: We're finally making progress towards getting the nursery ready, but there's a ton that I still need to do. My goal for this weekend is to unpack all the baby clothes and put them in LO's dresser. I also need to order a few more things for LO, DD, and myself.
QOTW: What's your favorite fall food or beverage? YES to cider donuts! I also love hot chocolate (though that may be more winter) and Halloween candy.

Ugh just about, yes. I have to sleep with two pillows to prop myself up or else I'll wake up in the motn choking/coughing on reflux stuff and my throat burning. The good thing is that it's all over after baby is here!

How many weeks? 38w4d
EDD? 9/10/16
Next appointment: Tomorrow
Symptoms/how are you feeling? Getting a bug in my butt about organizing and getting my house ready for D-Day, but my back is not on board.
Rants/raves: I am getting pumped about having this baby.
QOTW: What's your favorite fall food or beverage? I like the pumpkin spice stuff. I used to love Starbuck's pumpkin spice latte, but they changed the recipe last year and now it's ruined.
I texted MH and told him what the OB said and he replied with "I'm not sure if you're trying to proposition me or tell me to stay away" BAHAHA
Truth? I wish there was a way I could say "Hey let's do this but could you make it as quick as possible because this is for you and not me..." without egos and feelings getting hurt.
With MH he's good with a super fast quickie. Throughout my pregnancy I was in no mood for sex, and the last couple months ( at least) it did not feel well at all. So, more than once I asked him if he wanted 2 minutes, and I made sure he understood I was serious about it being over in 2 minutes. He was all over it.

serendipity731 & LadyNymeria , Get some papaya enzyme at Whole Foods for heartburn. No joke, it will change your lyfe. They come in little rolls like rolaids. Do it today, you will not be sorry. With both my pregnancies I had heartburn every day. I have been taking Prilosec this time and I have taken it so much I don't think it's working anymore. Papaya enzyme does though.
Also, serendipity731, I never got linea negra. I think not everyone gets it, but I would think if you had it before that you'd have it again, but maybe not.

Thanks for the suggestion theotherjacobsons! I'll have to see if there's a Whole Foods anywhere near my drive route between work, dr office, and home today!

Awesome, thanks! I know where I'm headed today. And score bc their hot food bar is discounted on Wednesdays!
Yeah last night I got a hand mirror to get a closer look at the lower part of my belly and there's a faint line but that's it. So weird.

Back from my appt. Still 1cm but a bit softer and maybe a little more effaced. Glad to have not gone backwards but I had been hoping the contractions Sunday had done something.
