1. Already looking forward to the long weekend and it's only Tuesday.
2. I can't believe I've lived in California for 6 years! I still feel like I just moved here. I lived in Boston for 3 years and I still identify with the area so much more. I never thought I would live in the city but 9 years later and I think it would be an adjustment not to. But I'd love M to have woods, trails, and a bigger yard to play in. I feel like we haven't laid our roots down yet.
3. I'm not the best at sayings. I tend to use them but something is slightly off.
4. Per usual, I'm writing these while Miss M sleeps.
5. My nephew turns 21 on September 3rd. I can't believe it!
CETs
6. I was tired enough this morning that I got halfway out of the shower before I realized I hadn't washed my hair yet.
7. There will be much caffeine today.
8. I spent the last 3 work days commuting to West LA to do depositions. It was nice to get out of the office, but it also required 4 hours of commute time each day.
9. I think I might actually be making some headway on getting back to my pre-summer vacation weight. Not my 'pre-wife's pregnancy' weight, but I'll take it for now.

1) cetcar -- we have lots of trails nearby and a state park but I miss living in big city. We live in a college town at least, so it's liberal and there are some good restaurants but not like a big city. I miss having museums and a good symphony too.
2) I'm dragging today. 2 wake ups last night plus I got to bed hour late.
3) I've had 3 cups of coffee but still tired.
4)Hopefully c will take an early nap and e will let me nap during part of that time!
5) we are getting Mexican food tonight for L's bday with her parents.
6) her actual bday is in w couple days. C is so excited about it and cake.
7) c talks about her bday all the time. Poor thing has to wait until February!
8). C usually poops between 10:09 and 11. It's just after 11 and still no poop.
9)I'm trying to catch her so I can get her on the potty on time and it is taking way too much brain power to do so.
1. J is off today so it's another Disney evening for us
2. I want to see the fireworks one last time before they change since the Diamond Celebration is almost over.
3. We got our new sink and dishwasher installed and I love it!
4. I need my period to get here now please.
5. I'm also so ready for our vacation in 12 days. Yay!
6. I feel like such an idiot because I forgot to pay the balance of our Comcast bill and it got sent to collections. Seriously! It was only $40. Ugh.
7. Jessie Graff killed it on American Ninja Warrior last night. J and I were screaming at the TV.
8. I'm so excited for the new show Designated Survivor, Kieffer Southerland has been so close to being president for so many years and now he finally made it
9. I did pass my real estate test, now I need to figure out what to do with that. I like my current job but it's only part time.

2. We need to figure a way to make this all work. Last night we got home from soccer at 7:20. The kids showered while I heated leftovers (so no major meal prep and no wasted time.) Kids ate quickly and then I was up with C doing homework until 8:45 and then he had to read for 20m (normal bedtime is 8:30.) And this was with him doing homework in aftercare too.
3. Doing homework in the AM isn't an option since we have to be out the door by 7:10 (they have to be at school at 7:20.)
4. They get to pick what they do (ie. write their spelling words 3x, write a story with the spelling words, group words according to theme, etc.) One of the options was writing the words "ransom" style. You know, cutting out each individual letter out of a magazine. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. Who would do that? These are long words (responsibility, knowledgeable, etc) and there are 10 of them.
5. I need to find my work groove. I was super productive last week (even when I was sick.) This week? Not so much.
6. I am so ready for cooler weather. It is still in the 90s here. Blech.
7. I am craving tacos. Sadly, that is what is on the menu tomorrow night. Not tonight.
8. No idea what we are doing for Labor Day weekend.
9. I leave for NYC 2 weeks from Friday! YIPPEEEEE!
10. Ritz toasted sour cream and onion crackers are really good.
mahler5, I agree, I think I would miss a lot of the restaurants and culture that comes with living in a City. I wouldn't want to be too rural. There must be a place that has both

Ahhh spoiler alert about American Ninja lol. I dvr'ed it so I can't wait to see it! R doesn't really like the show but I'm hooked.

1. I am 15 weeks today, and thrown up more today than any other day this whole pregnancy.
2. I am terrified something will be wrong at my appointment on 9/1. Seriously, terrified. I haven't heard, seen, or felt anything since my 6wk appointment in 7/5.
3. We are going to Colorardo for the long weekend and I am SO super excited, seriously. I love that my inlaws live there and that it's easily drivable for a long weekend. My youngest sister is coming with us, and the Taste of Colorado festival is this weekend, Boyz II Men are performing, Julie is super excited, and it's free! This weekend is going to rock.
4. Second guessing my names again, there are so so many amazing choices, I just keep thinking ours aren't good enough, or that They will end up super popular, and I'll hate the names bc of it later....I LOVE THEM both, but I see other great names and start to second guess it.
Eloise Mae Sutter Gerard
5. My middle sister is going through a super rough patch, she did it to herself but I just want to make it all better for her.
6. My landlord sucks, our debt to income ratio is too high to buy (DWs student loans, we've tried time and time again) they want a HUGE down payment, and if I had that kind of cash, I'd pay off 1/2 her loans and it wouldn't be a problem. It sucks.
7. DW is going back to school for some continuing Ed in computer programming and servers. Based on the advice from her boss. At least these classes are only $100/ea
8. We got 10 brand new cloth diapers for $40 this weekend, I know I need to prep them to make the liners absorbent, but how do I do that?! The internet says 1000 different things.
9. Hoping to take a nice long bath with a lush bath bomb in my inlaws huge spare bathroom tub.
10. My dog needs his teeth cleaned, but I am selfishly terrified to put him under.
3. JustJudy, I'm a little jealous of your proximity to Disney. M is definitely jealous, she is a Disney fanatic.
4. 2brides, I'm really not looking forward to the homework dilemma. I really think that there should be enough time in school to learn the necessary information without homework. This is going to be a real issue for me when my kids get to school since I routinely stayed up past midnight in high school and then slept through my classes daily.
5. bexincanada, Your #7 was a HUGE adjustment for me and M after O was born. Honestly 2 years and another kiddo later it is still an adjustment.
6. rikkiandjulie, What type of diapers did you buy? If they have inserts or are AIO you will want to wash and dry the absorbent part at least 3 times to prep. Yes, use soap too. They will still get more absorbent after each wash for awhile too.
7. I haven't been to work in a week and a half and I get so irritated thinking about going back. I truly need to find my passion.
8. Our kids are so great. We are both so in love with them. We went for a long walk today and were discussing #3...
9. I got a new Plum Planner today. I am so excited to use it!
10. My sister is leaving this week for a trip to Iceland. I'm very jealous.

We bought 10 unused Alva diapers from a Facebook group. They are inserts. Everything I read about prepping them contradicts the other. 😔

Totally agree. We've been very fortunate in this school that there wasn't too much homework 3rd and 4th (their old school was a nightmare with homework in K-2nd and we ended up having a 'Come to Jesus' with the school about it (45m for a Kindergartner? NO.)
Last night was much better. They were able to get most of it done in after care and L was able to get the kids an hour before I did and there was no soccer. We will see how tonight goes.

Sorry! I'm just so excited I wasn't thinking. Definitely watch it.

6. I'm excited for hockey season to start again because I'm a stereotypical Canadian. (I don't play, just watch.)
7. Having a baby means in-laws and parents want to visit all. the. time.
8. At least they bring food... and my mother winters in Mexico.
9. Debating squeezing in an extra pump but Is is stirring.
10. Doctor's appointment tomorrow, excited to see how much the little bug weighs.
Can I just ditto like, all of this?
C also has hockey on Wednesday nights and I am excited for this NHL season and hoping that my team (we're Habs fans) does well after some big changes this year. Who's your team?

That's hilarious wittyandwaiting. I'm actually more of an OHL fan than NHL. We had season tickets the past few years but not this year because of Is. If I had to pick an NHL team I'd say the Leafs though last year I watched a lot of the Oilers for McDavid because we saw a lot of him in the O, so that was cool. Essentially I like to follow former Storm players once they make it to the NHL... it's like watching my kids grow up.
