babycaps moving DD to her nursery was the best move ever for us too! Sleep!
I got the harmony pump to try. Not a fan. I guess it's good for emergencies.
We had a play date today but it got canceled because my cousin's baby is sick. Now, I'm imposing PJ day for me and DD since yesterday was so insane! Rest and relaxation for all!

westiemom I'm doing a pj day here too.. I'm exhausted from work the last few days and I want allllll the baby snuggles. I hope your cousin's baby feels better soon!
DD has been sleeping much better too. She does so much better on a schedule.
Work is exhausting me. DH won't be home tonight or tomorrow - he's got plans after work both days. MIL is coming over to help me since DS' fussiest time is right when we put DD down for bed. Last night I attempted it on my own (with DH there) and got pretty close to keeping him quiet and doing DD's bedtime routine. So we will see.
Ry slept so well last night! I feel like we are over the 4 mo sleep regression! 🙌🏻 Also ive been giving him the probiotic for a week now and he is so much happier now
westiemom, thanks for asking! No MOTN ER trip, but they want to see him in the office today. It looks like he's still having a little trouble breathing easily so I'm hoping they can get us in first thing.

birkmmm how long did the regression last? I think we are headed into it now...
I decided to resign from my favorite side job. It is a REALLY hard decision because I love it more than anything, but the pay is horrible and I really just did it for the love. But I love my baby more and want to be home as much as possible her first year, so I will work 1 extra day/month at my regular job to cover the 4 days I would have worked there. Still, i am sad about the sacrifice.
I really want to move to the guest too but I want a new mattress and DH read some stuff about SIDS that says you should room with baby until they are six months to reduce risk.

I feel you. I did the same thing and the "I love my baby more" thing is what makes me feel better when I miss my old job (plus remembering I would never see my babe if I had my old job). MH just weeded out his side jobs too and increased his college teaching load since it's more $ for less time even though he likes it less. Boo. Anyway. I understand and sorry 🙁
DS gave us a 4 hour stretch last night. That's the longest we've had in.. just about forever. I'm thinking in the next couple of weeks, we'll work on moving him full-time to his room vs. just the first stretch of the night. But that will involve DH getting up every time he cries to bring him to me. (If I suffer, he suffers! Forced solidarity.) Not sure how that will go over.
I'm officially in hell. W is going through the 4 month sleep regression and wants to play in the MOTN. Also, this leap is killing me because she is so crabby and clingy all day long..... Oh and...... We have a second tooth cut as of this morning. It's nuts that it is all happening at once. 😰🤕

3mo risk decreases SIGNIFICANTLY unless you are not providing a safe sleep environment. And if he's waking up so much, I would deft. Give it a 4-5night trial!
teraiin I think you should do whatever you are comfortable with. Since your DH doesn't take night shifts and sleeps in another room, you should have total say IMO.

It's been 7 days since DD's last poop.... I'm scared for when it finally comes! She's not acting uncomfortable and is obviously going through a major growth spurt but I am debating on when to call the pedi because she hasn't gone.

my pedi said that a week w/o pooping in EBF babies is typical. I haven't experienced it.... But it has something to do with the baby's system being able to effiencently process the BM. I'm crossing my fingers for 7 days... But the most W has gone w/o is 3 days.
I get nervous about SIDS only because our house is so f-ing hot. There are times the thermostat (in the hall right outside Cam's room) reads 90o when I'm putting him to bed. And rarely gets below the upper 70's. It's ridiculous that IL's only run their air when it's 95o or higher multiple days in a row. I'm ready for them to buy their boat and leave so we can run the air when we want!

That's exactly what I originally wrote and then I deleted it. OF COURSE he thinks staying in the same room is best. 😜
Ugh!!!! My friend is back in the hospital. 34 weeks but baby measures 30:(. She has lost 10lbs. And is now on bed rest and officially on leave. I just want to go see her.

I think we are going through a growth spurt. DS ate three times in the three hours after daycare and took 3 extra ounces while there. And he nursed twice this morning before I took him to daycare.

Aw babycaps praying her little stays put a little while longer! So scary
Yay for babies being born at a healthy point! And for the babies making their mamas worry.. I hope that stops!
teraiin, tell your husband that if it's so important to him to have someone sleeping in the room with DS, he's also able to do it. Both parties (more importantly, YOU) need to be on board.
westiemom, poop watch is always terrifying. Always. The last time we were on it, we thought we got away easy, since his poop was nicely contained. And then a couple hours later, the floodgates opened. He pooped on his ear and various other body parts I wouldn't have thought possible! >.<
