I'm afraid of my csection incision getting infected. I had two easy csection recoveries with my first two so I'm worried about complications this time. Plus it's been so much more painful this time. The nurse said that's because they actually take the uterus out to duo the tubal and then put it back in which causes more trauma.
My OB also said it is rare to get to go through the same incision site 3 times due to adhesions from old c-sections. If your incision is in a new spot then that might be contributing too.
@suesposa, I am so bad about not drinking enough, I wonder if you might be right. The peri bottle stings, too, though, so... certainly cant hurt to drink more water, though!

I am one month pp - for the last few days I've been bleeding after pooping. I wonder if something happened to the stitches? I figured they would have dissolved by now. I had two second degree tears, one that was episiotomy style (assuming that's what's bleeding after the bathroom) and one near my urethra.

It could be hemorrhoids. Try to eat lots of fiber and hydrate so you don't have to strain as much.
I had the most frighteningly awful migraine this morning. Between changing hormones, some epic dehydration (from the birth and subsequent insane days) and all the crying in the past week, my head finally told me all about it.
It's a dull roar of pain now. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road. My husband has been absolutely amazing today while I slept as much as possible.

This is awkward but I uhhh smell funny. down there. Not that I try to sniff it but it just had a weird odor that I don't recall previously. Not a terrible smelling one but certainly different than normal. I've stopped bleeding for the most part. Someone tell me my vagina will not smell funny permenantly please.

I figured out what was making my stitches so mad... my mom bought me these nice wipes but I didn't even think that being perfumed might be trouble. Yeah.... stopped using them, things are much much nicer again.

Agreed. (It happened to me around that time, and I'm pretty sure it was hemorrhoids)

Are you sure it isn't a headache from the epi?
It crossed my mind at one point! But, no - it responded to Imitrex. And my triggers include crying, dehydration, and over-heating, which I've had in spades since labor. It all finally caught up with me.
Of course, I took migraine meds and breastfed my kid. Imitrex doesn't worry me, but the aspirin in the excedrin extra strength does!! Stupid me. I didn't think.

I'm just over 3 weeks PP. The past couple days, my vagina has been hurting, kind of burning. It almost feels like a UTI but in a different place. I don't recall this with my last two kids. I didnt have tearing/stitches. I'm not in huge pain, so I thought I would wait until my doctors office is open Tuesday to call. What do y'all think? Infection? Something else?

I was experiencing something similar earlier this week. I am prone to UTIs and absolutely hate that feeling and anything that resembles it. Are you still bleeding? Mine cleared up when I added a sitz bath to my routine along with my daily shower.

My sciatica is out of control at this point...put the baby in the Moby wrap and went for a family walk this evening. It ended with me literally hobbling the last half of the walk with tears in my eyes, going so painfully slow my son was super concerned that mommy was really hurt. I don't have a regular doctor so I'll be calling my ob for a prescription or referral to physical therapy first thing on Tuesday. For now I am taking ibuprofen and trying to get through the times when the pain is really terrible without whining too much.

Ugh I'm so sorry!
I had this with S1 and it went away on its own after a day or two. My ortho doc told me that it sometimes happens as things are shifting around and going back into place post birth. Fx it will resolve quickly for you as well!

That doesn't sound fun at all. donyiu have a fever? If call if you have a fever.
frodabaggins a good position to do when the pain is awful is while sitting bring the painful leg up and rest your ankle on the opposite knee. Like a figure 4 stretch. You can do something similar if on your stomach. It won't take pain away forever but for the time you need relief. Hope it resolved quickly or you can get into physical therapy quickly.

No fever. And still bleeding very slightly. Wouldn't even fill up a panty liner all day (but I change them often in case irritation is the culprit). It's just weird because it doesn't hurt all the time.

If it were me then I'd probably wait until Tuesday with what you described but only you can judge how serious it is. Also I'm no doctor and typically don't call after hours unless I'm like bleeding out or have a 105* fever or something.
I like when doctors give a very clear "call immediately for the following; call the next business day for these other things" that is helpful to me! I need clear rules for what's an emergency.
