Rough night here. Baby gave me her cold, which hit full force at bedtime so I've barely slept. Now she's stirring and I'm waiting 5 minutes to see if she'll go back to sleep or if she needs me.

This floor, with NO windows, that I'm stuck working on smells like garbage today. This is going to be a long day. Good thing smells aren't really bothering me yet... And if they pick today to start, I'll be pretty pissed

I couldn't handle this. Everything smelly makes me want to vomit.
Apparently pregnancy brain is real in my house. I totally didn't believe this was a thing...
I left my car key/house key in my side door last night. H was not happy this AM.
I think it's totally a real thing. Remember I forgot where my mom lives a couple weeks ago? And last night I left a candle burning when I'm usually super paranoid about that. I blame preg brain for everything stupid that I do.

I took a very thorough shower last night but I can still smell a bit of chlorine on my skin from swimming with DD last night and it's making me queasy.

I love that smell. I don't know if I would now being pregnant. Thankfully our pool is salt water.
mustloveerica, I remember my symptoms vastly improving around this time (8-9 weeks) with my son. I also remember them coming and going a lot throughout my pregnancy. Sucks that this has to be something to worry about because it's nice to feel a bit more human!
Yesterday was my anniversary, so I had my favorite local bakery makes us a cookie cake. It was fabulous and I just had a slice for breakfast. I'm also ready for this nausea to stop. I didn't have this last pregnancy. Ugh
Thanks guys! Was up with the baby because she couldn't stop coughing long enough to sleep from 3:30 to 5. Tagged H in for a morning sickness break, then collapsed on the couch with a very pathetic cuddly baby and we both got a little sleep before the sun came up. She's not normally very willing to cuddle so it was sweet and lovely.
mustloveerica, I find that sleeping well and having other things demanding my attention also really reduce my symptoms (in addition to the fact that they just come and go).
Hugs to everyone dealing with symptoms and vanishing symptoms!

Not baby-related, but I had a dream that I met Bill Clinton. He was really frail and in a wheelchair and all I could think about was getting a picture with him.

I'm desperate for a turkey club sandwich. I'm also reading Expecting Better, and the author is fine with quite a bit of alcohol during pregnancy, but not turkey deli meat. I'm taking her book with a giant grain of salt, but it's giving me pause. Someone tell me to go eat the damn turkey!

Eat the turkey. You have a higher chance of getting listeria from spinach than from turkey. I mean I'm not going to eat deli meat every day but there's only so many peanut butter sandwiches a week a woman can eat.
