Before we had kids, H agreed to get a V when we were done. Now, he doesn't want to (we are planning for one more). I'm Catholic, he isn't. I'm not sure what is going on in his brain.

+3 tmclawchick you should go! I meant to comment earlier but got swamped at work.
Maybe the Canadians are telling you to go because it takes effing forever to get anywhere here haha. Par for the course! But really, I'd go just on the thought that I know my sister would take care of me if I was pregnant and I'd have no one else to take care of. I travel a lot for work and honestly it's kind of nice to have a few hours alone on a plane to read and nap!
redandblue no other symptoms. And no fever when he went to sleep but I also gave him advil. I hope teething and he can go to DC tomorrow after the doctors, if not I'm out 8 hours this week.
We just got stuck in traffic for an hour+ coming home. I tried to go the back way and kept running into construction or accidents. W screamed almost the entire way home. So over it. Passing out to sleep now. Will catch up later.
Also , I got my box of wine at work today! ( thanks @betweenthelines, I'm really loving this.) and M drank a cup of milk at daycare! It apparently took 20 minutes of work, but he did it!
Oh what'd you get?!? I'm skipping this month to save money since we are going to Mexico in less than 3 weeks. But I just opened a Bordeaux red blend from last month's box.
I'm about to attempt to paint my nails and H is at a friend's house using whatever sport is on as an excuse to socialize and drink. So I figure I'm pretty much guaranteeing that M will wake up. Might be paint my toes to be safe.

I'm waiting for H to play the Catholic card. We have used NFP the last 4 years (with 3 pregnancies... we're either really good or really bad at it) but he has no issue with me going back on birth control so that's not a valid argument for him IMO.
I should have my H talk to all of yours refusing a V. He had two surgeries during our IF treatments to try and correct his varicocele. He didn't even blink. He loves whenever the opportunity comes up to describe it to friends, lol.
I was so relieved when H agreed to get a V rather than trying to figure out other birth control options. My body has been through so much after fertility treatments, repeated miscarriages, a twin pregnancy, 2 c-sections, and now needing an umbilical hernia repair after that twin pregnancy. We both agreed that it was his turn now. Fortunately he'd had a few friends who had already had a V and could tell him first-hand that is was no big deal. He had it done in December and was in and out of the doctor's office in 30 minutes. He was a little sore for a day but never needed anything but Tylenol. Best decision ever.
Hey ladies, if your up, C has a 103 temp and heavy breathing. Advil and wait or take to after hours 20 minutes away... remember I'm solo parenting so that means getting 2 kids up in motn?

Has anyone ever been to Great Wolf Lodge? Do you recommend it? We'd like to do a weekend away this fall with the kids. Originally we were going to do a quick trip to WDW but with the mosquitoes apparently creeping closer and closer to Orlando it doesn't seem like a smart idea right now....
My boss just went, and loved it. He said it's great for kids younger than 4/5 and really only 2 days 1 night is needed. If the kids are older he recommended Camelback.

I'll borrow him! H isn't against it, but is obviously nervous and could use that last little push.
