I'm looking to buy a convertible car seat for M soon. We have a graco 4ever for H and love it. Our extra seat is a cheap evenflo and we hate it. I'm looking at getting a graco milestone while target has it on sale. We want a convertible that also converts to a highback booster. I would get a 4ever but that price tag...yikes. Does anyone have any experience with the milestone? Any other recommendations? Any other car seat questions?
The milestone one looks intriguing but big. Have you seen it in person? Might just be the picture online.
I don't get the seats that have leg extenders. Wouldn't that just hit the seat? I'm confused.
I have not seen it in person but I assume it is similar to the 4ever. I drive an F150 so I'm not too worried about size. I'm most concerned with price and how long it can be used.

I love my Radians. I had to fit three across in my old Civic, so we bought them for that. I haven't used an infant bucket seat since #1, so the baby has been in the Radian since birth.
Anyways, the Radians are heavy, but very thin, so they fit well with room to spare. They can be RF forever, last 7-9 years because of the steel frame, and can be used well into childhood. My kids don't usually meet the weight requirements for a booster until close to age six. They have been in their Radians from birth to booster.
Get a 25% off coupon when you trade in an old car seat. Might be a good time to get a convertible seat if you have an old one laying around.
My BFF grabbed an expired carseat off of a person on one of those FB yardsale pages, $10, and traded it in. Its such a good deal!
Also, Amazon has crazy markdowns right before xmas on 2016 models of seats. We got DD's seat at a disgustingly low price because the color was discontinued and it was a same-year model.
Edit: we have a Britax Roundabout and its fine. Radian would be my choice but $$$$. Edit 2: extra 5% off if you use a BRU card for a total of 30%. We are going tomorrow, its the last day of the trade-in.
Did anyone check Baby Bargain's for info? I'm consulting this as we make our list and prepare to buy something probably tomorrow. If someone needs me to look up a seat I can do that and not happy.
Ok, so I found a deal at Kohls. They have car seats on sale, plus you get Kohls cash and rewards points. You can get the graco milestone for $195 plus get $30 kohls cash ($40 if you want to spend $5 more). They have other seats on sale too. I think the sale runs Sept 15-25th.
Courtniko, do you ever have an issue with your older one messing with/throwing things at the younger one?
She has put a stuffed animal on him once, and taken his blanket once, but we really have not had any issues. I don't think she can actually reach him, to mess with him, since her seat puts her up higher, but I could be wrong. She is a small 2 year old, so she does not have a long reach. My biggest concern is her dropping stuff on him, like her waterbottle. Other than her waterbottle she generally only gets soft toys in the car, but she could maybe put something over his face if she really tried. So far it has not been an issue at least
I still have no idea what car seat we will be getting, but if you buy a diono radian rxt at target right now ($289) you get $65 in gift cards. I hope my rambling in this thread helps someone. Lol

Crap I wish I had known this!
We did the BRU trade in sale and got a Britax Clicktight. It looks like a nice seat, got great reviews and claims to be more breathable than other seats.

I finally pulled the trigger on the graco milestone. Under $200 and I earned $50 kohls cash and rewards. M weighed in at nearly 19 lbs yesterday so I'll be happy to switch him out of the bucket seat.
