coffeequeen14 the next milestones to get out of the hospital are getting the chest tubes out and then it sounds like mostly getting back to feeding/nursing. Poor guy hasn't had milk since Tuesday early morning, just IV fluid. I am hopeful for leaving the first half of next week.
Alright, night two of new bedtime routine (w/ bottle) complete. Fingers crossed he sleeps okay and last nights lack of crying/puking/whining wasn't a fluke.
penny2103 congratulations on the new job!! I have never moved with a baby, only pregnant (x2). Just things I have heard is do a box a night to help packing. I packed quick open boxes 1 move ago. They basically had enough plates, silverware, a frying pan etc to get me through till the whole kitchen was unpacked. I also had a box of toys and books for the kids to 'unpack' and play while I got things done. Every other necessity was in our suitcases, but I didn't want to eat out for several days(or weeks) until I got the kitchen set up. This helped a lot because we had lived in a hotel for 6 weeks so the kids were ready for some homecooking. I also recommend throwing things out or Yard sale. It's a great time to purge. We keep adding kids but our total weight in moves has stayed at 5k lbs.
Oh and like the rest of us in this house, my husbands allergies are bothering him. He's complained more about feeling terrible in the past 48 hours than I did in an entire trimester of pregnancy.
coffeequeen14 he just got to have some pumped milk in a bottle a little bit ago tonight and did a great job for a first try! Pumping is going fine...not my fave, but that's okay. I'm not sure when chest tubes come out...will have to ask at rounds tomorrow. I haven't asked if M has been using the trike, haha. When we FaceTime, she often is more interested in playing with the phone than me.
I hope you all are ready for another weekend soon!

penny2103 congrats!! And we just moved but only 2.5 hours away. DD (just turned 2.5) did amazing she got a few new toys for the new house but other than that she was fine. We kept her routine pretty in tact and made sure to get her out to a new park at the new house that really helped. To be honest I packed a lot during the boys sleep time and once DD went down. She was a really good helper tho so I packed things she could help me with when she was awake. (Blankets, clothing, towels, etc)
