Hi it's barely Friday but I can't sleep because it's raining and my leg hurts. I'm trying to take a bath but a stupid fly keeps attacking me. I was just sitting here thinking how I've had enough. I just want to have this baby. My fingers are swollen. I'm kind of miserable tonight/this morning. Oh and last night I had a nightmare. Apparently I tried to jump away from my dream and fell off the bed. I landed on both knees really hard. Now I have a really purple bruise on one leg.

I'll join the motn party. Contractions woke me up at 4am and have been consistently around 8 min apart. I don't believe them though because contractions are big fat liars.
I'm sorry you're having such a rough time @eboyd. It sounds like it's been a tough pregnancy for you. Hopefully not long to go now!
It's Friday night here, looking forward to having DH home for the weekend. I've been rearranging our spare room and buying new linen which is fun! Tomorrow DH is taking DD out for the morning so I'll have a quiet morning home with the baby which will be really nice.

I'm up too, I couldn't stay asleep. DS1 woke up at 4 with a random nosebleed, DH took care of him but I was awake anyway. I felt really out of breath all night so my sleep was intermittent. Drinking coffee and trying to summon the will to get ready for work.

Thanks for the positive vibes ladies! They are 6 minutes apart now but I'm so puzzled because they last 3-4 minutes each. I'm calling my office when it opens in 20 minutes.
Bout to take the dog on a walk again. My FFL team had a good start last night and I play my DH this week. What kind of sorcery is that? Anyways now I sort of want to have the baby this week so I can say "wow I had a baby AND beat you in fantasy?"
Yay for a better night of sleep sodapop! I'm jealous, I think I was up to pee at least 5 times last night.
Ugh, work. Good luck with that merryrissmas. I'm very excited to be working from home today.
kerbear - I have CJ Anderson in one of my leagues so good amount of points from him last night. Only bummer is I picked the Panthers to win in my (non-elimination) pick 'em league and Broncos ended up winning by the 1 point. So excited it's football season!

DD is in daycare today, so E and I have a nice quiet day planned. He's got his one week appointment today (even though he's almost 2 weeks old). I'm excited to see how much he's grown! I'm going to try and muster up enough energy to do some laundry and cleaning. And I'm getting a cold. I haven't had one for 2 years! I guess I should consider myself lucky. I'm just really hoping I don't pass it on to anyone else!

Yes I played CJ Anderson and Kelvin Benjamin against my husband. MUAHAHA. Panthers are my (current) hometown team. Tough matchup. That said, I went to bed at the start of the 3rd Q. Trying to stockpile sleep...

Nice!
I made it to the start of the 4th. Not worth wasting sleep on not my team. When the Pats play Sunday night, that's another story!
I'm 39 weeks so pretty much it's just that crazy crappy part of pregnancy I guess. I'm totally emotionally unstable too. I had a huge crying fit because my leg hurt and I wanted to take a bath but the dog sat on my foot and I was too tired to move him lol. My husband is so lucky he didn't laugh at me.
I'm thinking about making some cookies later. Maybe that will help labor?? I'm starting to have those maybe this will help thoughts.
hurricanerek sounds promising. I hope we hear some good news from you 🙂

Even if it doesn't help, you can't go wrong with having fresh baked cookies in the house!!!
annapunkalunka, I love it! Your little ones are adorable. The pics of big brother and little sister are by far my favorites from our pics too. I teared up when I saw them..
Everyone is insane here. We live in Iowa but I am not from here and don't really care about college football. The whole school is decorated because Iowa plays Iowa State this weekend. Teachers and students are all dressed up, the cafeteria has streamers everywhere and they are playing fight songs over the radio. But there's donuts so I'll take it.
Happy Friday everyone! I'm sitting at the chiropractor. Have an appt with the midwives later and hoping I'm a bit more dilated than 1... MIL has DS all day so I think I may go get some acupuncture and a pedicure this afternoon.
I am taking my hospital bags to my appointment, just in case I happen to be at 6cm and they don't let me leave 😜. Wishful thinking lol
For the third day in a row our dog has diarrhea. At least last night she was much better about trying to wake me up if she needed out. Even if half the times I took her out it was so she could stand there farting. Apparently she's learned not to trust a fart. Good for her.
So I finally went to bed after Midnight. I decided to go to one last HOA board meeting because they were going to discuss my committee and begin replacement planning for our departing GM. Total waste of my night. Usual stupid crap and drama, nothing actually accomplished. So I was in bed from midnight to about 6:30am... in between those two times I took the dog out four times. I think the longest stretch I got was about 2.5 hours.
Other than the diarrhea, she's completely fine. Appetite is good, drinking plenty of water, activity level is about the same as usual (maybe a tad more tired, since she's waking up every 2 hours to go outside at night). So she has a vet appointment this afternoon. H is grumpy because I need his car to do this, and "she seems fine". Apparently he didn't realize we'd been out 4 times in the night.
In other news, I am officially tired of people asking me if I'm in labor yet. Especially people who KNOW that I'm still a week from my regular due date and that I'm scheduled for an induction on Sunday night.
We got the office furniture mostly moved downstairs, now H just needs to get his computer hooked back up and we need to move one big chair up the stairs to Katie's room. MIL and I are going to try and get some of the decals up this afternoon, but I honestly might need a nap once I finish the last two little things I need to do for work.
pismoduo - Hope you can figure out what's going on with your pup. We've been there - that's no fun to deal with!
Thanks! I think she's probably fine, but I'd rather figure out what's going on before I'm juggling a sick dog and a baby, and luckily the vet had something this afternoon. Save

Ugh, I benched Kelvin Benjamin in both leagues. But it's a good sign that he'll continue to perform well through the season
I'm in nesting mode, so maybe labor is imminent. I bought new lamps for the living room because our cat chewed through the cords of the old lamps (and they were ugly hand me downs). My husband hasn't noticed yet but he noticed I'm flitting around cleaning.
P and I are meeting a friend out to a late lunch today & possibly stopping at my dads tonight.
H had previously planned to get together with friends tonight because who would of thought we'd have an outside baby already. Today will officially be the longest we've gone without him. (8 hours of work and who knows how long tonight)
