I'm so sorry! I haven't been through it, but my husband had his out at 3yo. I know it's a surgery that's much much easier when you are younger. Is part of the reason ice never been able to get a Dr to take mine out.

That is no fun Did you get a 2nd opinion? I think it's a bit controversial now although maybe some kids still must do it. My Feb child has had surgery and it's scary but also not so bad. Find out the the food rules. Feed your kid a big late dinner and, if juice is allowed, get some special juice for the morning. Not eating breakfast can be a tough part...
That's sad also soooo great that he is so young. My daughter had her surgery at 11 and it was brutal. My friend said her three year old did awesome, and the recovery was over all a breeze. Sorry though, I know I would be totally bummed and stressed out too.

Mine isn't a big breakfast person so that won't be too bad. I did get a second opinion. His are huge and we have been getting monthly appointments to see if there are any changes but nope. I know this is better for him in the long run but I am so scared of recovery lol
Get them removed. You'll be glad you did. At this age, it's a very straightforward procedure and recovery. He will be ok
My kids all have their tonsils (so far) but I know tons of people whose kids have had them removed, and it's never been a big deal. Most are back at school the next day.
