Morning. I'm going into work to set up my classroom. The big question is whether H wants me to bring baby or not. I'm hoping not, but he did the night feeds and I offered him a break today
We were supposed to go to the neighbors for a cookout this afternoon, but it is supposed to storm and DD1 has a cold. I'm kind of glad because I would rather just take a nap.
I set up the kick n play piano this morning and baby girl absolutely loves it. She is kicking away and hitting the toys and smiling like crazy. So cute. All of my girls have loved this.

It's a rainy Saturday here, so just staying around the house while H goes out with some friends. The in-laws left yesterday, so I'm ready to have DS to myself again.
DS rolled from his belly to his back while I was getting a glass of water. I'm hoping it's a fluke because woah! It's too soon. While he is 11 weeks old, his adjusted age is only 4 weeks.
His first swim class was yesterday and I think he enjoyed it. He slept for so long after it.

Last night DD3 randomly woke at 9:30 to eat. I think I was dehydrated so she was hungry. Then she did her long stretch. It was awesome. She usually starts it at 8 so I miss a few hours. I am inspired to try a dream feed again. Then this morning DH got up and got the bigs breakfast. Now he has taken them to a huge park near here. Major brownie points being won. Sadly DD3 won't let me put her down so I can repay the favor with cleaning (a clean house is DH's love language, I swear).
DD3 was fussing on her playmat while I ate before the bigs left. DD1 quickly got the tissue paper I had in the toy bin and placed it so DD3 could kick it (a #pinterestwin idea). DD3 immediately began happily kicking. DD1 starts preschool for the first time Monday. What in the world am I going to do without her???
I switched DD to Enfamil premie formula to see if it helps with the constipation. How long after switching would I notice a difference? I have two sample cans.

It's football time at our house. Both girls are snoozing, I'm going to rest on the couch. With coughing, blowing my nose, and baby getting up a million times it was a long night.

Ds1 had his first soccer practice/game this morning. All the little kids were so adorable!
I went to BRU after to pick up new bottles. We have been trying to use the Avent ones we had with ds1, but ds2 is still leaking so much out of the sides of his mouth. I thought he'd figure it out, but after 5 weeks I decided to try a different one. We had a sample of Mam brand and he was perfect. The Dr Browns sample also had some leakage, so I bought a bunch more of the Mam ones.
Tonight DH and I are going out to dinner by ourselves! My parents will watch the kids. Then Monday dh leaves for his first business trip since ds2 was born. I am so super nervous for a week by myself.
pbandjelly, my LO has been rolling from belly to back for a while now and he's 7 weeks. He hates tummy time and rolls onto his back to avoid it! Also, swim classes at 11 weeks?!? The swim schools around here don't start until 6 months but DH really wants to start him sooner.

The classes start at 4 weeks. This one goes until 6 months. It's just getting used to the water. They get used to floating on their backs, having their head under water and holding their breath (very briefly), learn to kick, splash, and blow bubbles. It was fun! At 6 months, they move up to the next class.

Hi! So tired! We had friends over for dinner last night, zoo this morning, and more friends tonight. But for now I rest. With leftover pizza and football.

DD1 stayed at my moms house last night and dh went to work at 5am this morning so DD2 and I got lots of one on one time today. She actually let me set her down for a nap today so I got some things cleaned around the house that were desperately overdue and had time to pump, sip coffee and get myself ready. Then we went to the mall. It's in the 90s here so I wanted AC lol. I put her in the ring sling and window shopped. Now I'm going to try to sneak a nap in with her before dh and DD1 get home.

Ok I cooked real dinner 2 days in a row. I'm going to try to keep my streak going!
Funny thing is I actually love to cook. But it seems like our dinner time keeps getting interrupted.... My in laws visit too often. Also H is pretty "meh" about food and eating in general, so that kind of ruins my desire to cook sometimes.

That sounds perfect! I might do a little more digging to see if I can find that here. For now DH is giving him "lessons" in our swimspa.

LO was a nightmare yesterday, luckily today was a good day. Not much going on, been looking into TV streaming apps so we can save money on cable. And we're considering trading DH's truck for a cheaper car to save since daycare is going to wipe us out.
I slept in today. It was so nice. But my head is pounding today. I've had a background headache for a few days now, but today it's rough.
So I meant to post all that earlier but never hit send ended up turning into a migraine. I took a maxalt and it knocked me out. Now I want coffee and ice cream.

DD has an odd method of approaching the boob. Most babies just open their mouths but she actually starts making the nursing motion with her mouth before she is latched. So the tongue thrust basically causes a funky latch. It is hilarious and very odd

My ILs are here this weekend. My MIL, who formula-fed her kids, has had some choice comments for me about breastfeeding. Like, "they're so gassy today, what did you eat?" And when G screamed at my boobs (because she was gassy and done eating), "she probably wants a bottle." And my personal favorite - said to G while I was feeding M - "Your mommy is starving you!"
