M loves teethers or anything else he can chew on. He loves his taggie blanket and crawls to stuffed animals. He really likes his jumper right now and we moved the incline on the swing so he can see his brother run around better, and that keeps him entertained.
Taggie blanket! She has one of DD1's bristle blocks that she loves to chew on. She likes her black and white baby animals book. And a skip hop lamb that was DD1s.

He has this ugly-as-f%#k crinkly starfish-thingy. If you're a Doctor Who fan, picture the starfish saying "moisturize me" but with funny colors, and you've pretty much got it.
He also likes his Oball and the blinking lights on his gym.
There's a teether with little brush-like thingies on it, and he chews that thing every day.

LOs favourite thing is his chompee and a bee in his play mat that has crinkly wings that he loves to hold. He also loves the dogs eyebrows and beard and will grab hold of them any chance he can get!
He likes being able to see, so his Bumbo and his bouncy seats that sit him up are big hits. He likes the toy arches so he can bat at things, but he gets frustrated when he can't pull the toys into his mouth. We have been putting the arches in front of his seats so he can see around and play.
Like lovemyk, Sophie has never interested either kid too much, but now DD wants it when we try giving it to DS because it is hers.
DS was really liking a really soft stuffed bunny, but DD kept taking it away.
We have a taggie that crinkles which he is somewhat interested in.

The jealousy is real. I keep making the mistake of telling Dd1 when something was hers as a baby. I think it is cute that LO is playing with a lot of the same stuff but DD1 seems to think that means it is technically still hers. Taggie blanket was the biggest struggle but she says she is going to ask Santa for her own.
She is doing better but like this morning she just grabbed LOs paci out of her mouth and hid it...

lovemyk, so we actally have a Prince Lionheart bebePod, which is the same idea as a bumbo, but I am not sure if the dimensions are the same. DS definitely has some thighs, but he is only 14lbs, so he is still somewhat small. I have no tricks for getting him in, I just slide him in, feet first rather than going straight down, so his thighs don't have to fit through the smallest part.
Also, I would absolutley not just spray lysol on a stuffed animal, and give it to a kid. Lysol should get wiped off any surface, not left on to absorb in, then be sucked out by a baby. You are not being overprotective by thinking that is weird. Lysol is not meant to be ingested.
My MIL brought over a new stuffed animal that sings this morning. I said, great! Just don't give it to him today and I'll wash it tonight.
Her response: just spray it with some Lysol.
Um that's a terrible idea, no? Or is my judgment just clouded bc it's my MIL? It seems stupid to spray a toy with chemicals you're going to give to a child that puts everything in his mouth?
