Not vain, a goal is a goal. I'm finding my days and nights all blending together. I need some goals to make life more interesting.
I need to make another goal. And ditto on days blending together. I just left the house for the first time since DD's doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I only went to Wendy's. I rode with the windows down and the radio up. It's the little things.
DH liked the crepes so much the other day that he's requesting to have it again tomorrow for brunch. We'll see. Little miss Piko is sleepy and didn't make the batter tonight.
I'm almost at a size that I'm happy with. But I still need new clothes.
Or do I? I don't go anywhere but target, Costco and Safeway these days. Every time I go it's like a timed mission.
I wouldn't buy new clothes just yet. I jumped the gun when I first got pregnant and bought a bunch of big maternity clothes. I ended up thinning out and never got to wear more than half of what I bought. Everything was on clearance so I couldn't even return it. I've lost 20lbs but still can't fit any of my old clothes. I'm jealous.

If you want new clothes, get new clothes - even if it's only one outfit.
My first 'maternity' purchase was new lingerie that would fit as my belly grew - I felt a little guilty spending money on non-practical things for me when we'd just found out we're pregnant but chalked it up to a mental health / self care purchase.

I've lost 20lbs too and can barely fit into a pair of jeans that I happen to like a lot. No other non stretchy pants fit yet. I've accepted the fact that my ass had stretched out over the last 9 months and it's never going back to the way it was (prob a good thing since I had no ass anyway).
I want to join a mommy group here inhm Houston. How do I find one?
Facebook? Does Houston have a big moms blog (like NoLa has the New Orleans Moms Blog)?
In small town Louisiana where I live, I would ask the local swap / sell / trade fbook group. It's kinda the place people crowdsource that kind of question.
For Pete's sake, I just pumped an hour ago but somehow my boobs are feeling tight as soon as I lay down in bed!
Never fails. I woke up in a puddle this morning. I was too lazy to wash my pump parts, so I went to sleep. Never again.lol
Your second mistake is in keeping only a set of pump parts. I bought 3 extra sets and just realized I should have bought at least 5, so I'd only have to do the washing once or twice a day.

I've heard of people keeping the parts in a ziploc bag in the fridge and reusing all day, just washing once.
I've never pumped so don't know how gross that is, but seems common advice on the BF board.
xoxolicia another idea for places to find mommy groups are la leche league meetings or baby wearing international meetings. Even if those groups turn out not to be your thing, they're full of moms you can ask.
Just realized I haven't heard from my OB about the bloodwork I had drawn Monday. Hopefully that means I don't need a third Rhogam shot, but I should call Monday to be sure. And to schedule my post partum appt.
