Our weekend was so busy I feel like DH didn't get to spend a lot of good time with DD so I'm sad he's back to work today. Lots of wake ups so I'm tired. Too much adult decision making in our future leaving me stressed. Basically, I just want to crawl in bed and start over! Hopefully coffee helps!

Back to work today. DS1 sent me off to work with a huge hug and "his plan" that I will pick him up and take him to the park this afternoon. This was MUCH better than what I was expecting. It's the first day in 4 months that he doesn't leave the house before me, instead he sent me off! I was expecting tears. My little boy is all grown up.
DH and I talked a bit more seriously last night about how we are likely not going to have a 3rd baby. Naturally or through adoption. It's odd. I don't feel complete but I don't want a 3rd. It's such an odd feeling. Of course it's early to think of such things, but I am just done in so many ways. I wonder how I will feel in a year.
Monday: I'm at work. Anxiously waiting to see if Joint Commission will show up today or anytime this week.

DH dropped a bomb on me last night asking me how I felt about moving to Dallas. That's never been on our radar (moving) but his cousin lives in Texas and says there are good opportunities for jobs. DH has been really hating his job for the last few months and I assumed he was displacing because of the new baby stress. Only time will tell if he's serious or just wishful thinking.
teraiin, quite the bomb indeed!! Are there job prospects he's actually looking into?
Nothing specific. He just seems restless. A couple of weeks ago he asked if I felt like we could be missionaries haha he seems slightly more serious about the Texas thing though.

Dallas is awesome. Texas is awesome. Price of living is pretty decent too! Not a bad place to end up!

teraiin - I would carefully explore what about his current job he's having problems with, how a new job would be different, etc prior to getting too far along on the Texas train.

It's a lot of stuff I've warned him can't be solved for sure by a new job. I doubt he's serious I think it's mostly wishful thinking lol
teraiin I get the bug like YH too - I haven't been stable for more than 3 years. I get bored and crave a big life change. Move, career, babies, or all three at once 😜 I realize this is abnormal but I've always been like that. So glad MH doesn't mind! I hope baby I settles me down a bit. I imagine he will satisfy my craving for big changes!!
Nap time PW: is anyone else's kid NOT rolling over yet? How about not grabbing objects intentionally?
I am the queen of advising "every kid moves at their own pace", so I'll take my own advice here. Just curious since yours all seem to be hitting these milestones earlier than I'd expect.
snoris, no rolling over here. And he doesn't seem to interested on rolling! He does grab objects intentionally, but his "coordination" is still of the "drunken boy" kind!
snoris, DS rolls from belly to back only. He has no desire to be on his belly, so I imagine it will be a while before we notice him going back to belly.
And he JUST started grabbing stuff. And found his feet. Diaper changes are awful now.

I'm pretty sure when I posted the rolling poll awhile back there were some "no"s. I also try to remember that a few weeks can be big developmentally. So I usually uses westiemom's daughter as a preview of where DS could be in two weeks and pay attention to the other LO's born around the same date as DS.
Also DSs progression to rolling seemed to happen very quickly. One minute he wasn't rolling. Next he freaked himself out by accidentally rolling. Now he rolls fairly consistently but not necessary 100% of the time lol

LOL drunk boy is a good description. He's getting better but sometimes he grabs too soon. Sometimes he accidentally bops himself on the head when trying to put something in his mouth.
snoris, she occasionally goes belly to back but is far more interested in scooting herself around the room. She's gotten pretty good at grabbing things. I even saw her reach up and take her paci out of her mouth! No luck getting it back in though.

Ryker just started to roll back to belly on Friday....even if they're born around the same time development is different Ry was born same day as westiemom LO but they have still done things differently... I was getting frustrated that feeling like Ry was just being kind of lazy but I had to remind myself that girls tend to develop faster ... I really realized that cause 4 of the babies at DC are all a week apart & the two girls are rolling and holding their heads up while on their belly so well and Ry and the other boy didn't even care to try to roll lol ... Silly boys. Pretty much what I'm trying to say is snoris I wouldn't worry about it too much

Yeah that's why I said where he could be developmentally because he definitely does things his own way. It was only once he started rolling that he cared about holding his head up LOL
