How are things going? Ahem. They're. Going. I lost 3lbs with my cold? But I'd be shocked if I didn't eat it all back with chocolate.

QOTW: what's your favorite exercise? Spin class & kickboxing class. Neither of which I've been able to go to in years. 😢 Someday
Side note: one of my DC Mamas has a 9wk old. She always goes for a run after dropping off at DC. She ran 10 miles yesterday! And she looks freaking incredible! I admire her for it and it's inspiring me a bit. I vowed to focus on myself after the stress of DC opening ended but, well, it's taking for ever, so I better stop procrastinating. Right now I don't work Tu, Th so I'll have to take advantage.
How are things going? Good I guess. Pre pregnancy clothes fit at least... Haven't stepped on a scale though. I'm sure I'm back up to my pre pregnancy weight
Challenges? My dad keeps buying me mcdonalds and ice cream and other stuff. His love language is definitely gifts and he knows all my favorite treats 😂
What's on the menu this week? Italian sausage and zucchini stew. One pot is enough for 4 dinners haha
QOTW: what's your favorite exercise? Ewwww exercise! 😜 I really love Zumba. But now that I'm not working and we have the baby I don't know if/when I can go back
How are things going? GOOD. Went back to work last week and still managed to lose 1lb. This week is a little more challenging.
Challenges? Work food...potlucks. What's on the menu this week? DH made 13hr pork today. We made salmon yesterday. Rest of week will be left-overs. QOTW: what's your favorite exercise? I miss spinning!!!! And HOT yoga, especially Yoga Sculpt. I will get back to both next year.
How are things going? Terrible! I thought the scale had finally started to drop last week and it bounced right back up. I'm only like 10lbs lighter than when I left the hospital and the baby was most of that 😢 I have a bunch of work pants that don't fit and I try them on every couple of weeks and seem to be able to fit about 1 pair a week, so I think may be losing fractions of inches and gaining muscle/losing fat, but the scale is still depressing because it's my heaviest non-pg weight ever.
Challenges? I don't have much time to eat, then I end up snacking on things that aren't so great for me.
What's on the menu this week? I'm trying to do more salads and lean meats.
QOTW: what's your favorite exercise? Stairs. I've work in an office tower, so I've been taking the stairs between floors and all the way down to the first floor when I leave.
Also, I thought I would totally lose weight quickly being back at work because I do so much walking. I have a Fitbit now and apparently I take more steps at home than I do at work!
Challenges? I'm. Always. Hungry. It's ridiculous. Also always tired. I don't understand how moms that work full time can exercise. There's literally no time from 5:30am when I start getting ready until the kids go to bed around 7. Then by the time we clean up dinner, wash/ prep bottles & pump parts, make lunches, and I do my evening pump it's 9 or 9:30. And I'm exhausted crawling into bed.
What's on the menu this week? Yesterday I made creamy chicken chili, tomorrow is spaghetti, later this week I might try a new crock pot fajita recipe.
QOTW: what's your favorite exercise? Does chasing a toddler around count as exercise? Cuz that's pretty much all I get. I enjoy biking trails but it's been since before A was born that I've been able to do any serious biking. We're hoping next summer we can do some big family outings since both boys will be big enough by then.
