DS woke up at 12:30am to pee. That's fine, we just got done potty training.
He then woke up at 4:30 bright eyed and bushy tailed wanting to brush his teeth. Ok, I'm not going to tell a kid that sometimes fights to brush his teeth that we can't. I had to pee anyways.
After he brushed his teeth he wanted to watch paw patrol. Yeah no kid.

I have a lot on my plate at work. It's interfering with my TCF time. But today I'm getting my eyebrows waxed, which is much needed, so hopefully that restores some balance to things.

If my mom could stop texting me about my appointment and the shape of my uterus, that would be great. Does she really think that I would tell her about this ultrasound, talk to her about all of my worries, and then not tell her the outcome?
Back at work today. I ended up leaving yesterday afternoon because I was blank staring the computer screen. It seems like it's just a cold, but I can't believe how much it knocked me out. I have some memory of this from my last pregnancy, but it seems to be worse this time. I guess it's a good thing we didn't take any vacations this year, because I've been using all my PTO on naps.
For those still puking..mine stopped around 15 weeks last time. Like @amc25, said, the last couple of weeks weren't as bad as the first 4-6 of it. Fingers crossed it ends soon for you all!
I mean.... At least we gave you positive anecdotes of it stopping eventually, even if it's a little after the magic 12-week mark when most pregnancy books/apps/websites usually say it goes away. I hope you're feeling better soon! Hang in there!
ugaqueencity I'm worse now too! Honestly, the puking was much better than these headaches/migraine things I've been getting. Sometimes the headaches make me puke anyway. 😕
I'm headed to lunch with my H. I just told him this morning, I wanted to start eating less carbs. But I'm nauseous again, and about to order a huge plate of pasta. I'm sure he'll remind me of my AM concerns about gaining too much weight. And I will get ragey.

I've been MIA for the past week and k can't wait to catch up with everyone! I miss you and I hope to jump back in!
Story for those who have time -- my dad became ill while on vacation and has been at a lackluster hospital out of town for 5 days. He's headed home today to be admitted, which is a relief! Since I'm the only medical professional in the family, a lot of stuff falls on me to inform everyone of his progress, plan of care, tell my mom what questions to ask, etc. I feel like I've been on call for a week!

I updated on the pgal/pgif check in, but I will here too. Ultrasound looked great today. The tech didn't say the words placenta previa, but that's how I'm being treated. I am incredibly relieved!

Sick toddlers are so sad. We've been stuck at home all week because last week was the first week back at playgroup and kids with older siblings brought all the back to school germs so now DS has a nasty cold. Not sick enough not to climb the furniture but sick enough to be uncomfortable and sad.
We have walls framed and electrical roughed in the basement! First inspection is tomorrow and I'm really nervous, even though professionals have done all the work. I just feel like inspectors have to be mean. Fingers crossed that by this time next week our basement will be (mostly) finished.
NT scan in the AM...I'm nervous.
Oh..and I had Taco Bell for dinner. Like, I packed up DD only to drive to Taco Bell. Excellent decision.

kaits8. Taco bell on a tummy full of nerves? I see you like to live dangerously. Good luck at NT scan tomorrow. I hope baby gives you a good wiggle and dance!
Had an OB appt today that went really well. We got to see baby boy who was moving around a ton! We couldn't get very good pictures because he was doing flips and punching around. It was pretty awesome.
I am having headaches every day and my OB prescribed something and I really hope it works!
DH is currently on his way to the grocery store because I really really NEED ice cream! But strawberry cheesecake ice cream specifically. I've been wanting this for a few days now so I really hope they have some!!
meggypoo1 - Anecdote, My grandparents never made it to grandparent day events, but my friend's grandma would always 'adopt' me for those events and as a kid that was just as great.
