Good morning mommas! I am back from our long weekend...we had a great time in Alabama...the drive up was great LO slept all but 2 hours of the 10 hour drive...we got in at 7am on Friday so my parents took LO and DH and I went to bed for 3 hours...the view was gorgeous... and so was the wedding... DH, Brother, SIL and I went Zip lining...it was awesome after I realized I wasn't going to die if I jumped off the platform... Now I am back at work and the reality is back because I am trying to get coverage for my trip to Disney in 42 days!!!!! LO was the life of the party Saturday night at the wedding...he was the first one on the dance floor, and at one point he was to tired to dance so he laid down on the dance floor and started "break dancing" it was so cute... I will post pictures a little later!

Christmas. Sigh, I'm trying to figure out if I can buy the few presents I plan to get in October. For Leo I plan on buying some 3T clothes. His hand-me-downs have slowed (I think he's catching up to his cousin). I don't have anything else in mind, no toys. Maybe some of the books I plan on buying I can wrap and hold off until christmas. But I'm sure DH will buy him a toy. I need to come up with a list of gifts, something for DH, my dad, my goddaughters, etc.
I refuse to even think of Christmas until Halloween is over. Next month starts our birthday-birthday-Christmas-birthday-birthday extravaganza and I'm trying to pretend it's not happening again. We are broke for like four months straight. We are definitely keeping it simple this year and the kids already know that's happening and are on board.
Teacher conferences this week means that my boys are out by 11:25 every morning for the rest of the week- and my high schooler STARTS at 11. Forty minutes from my boys' school. During nap. I got tomorrow covered while I'm at clinical so my H doesn't freak trying to figure it out but I'm rolling solo on Friday when I also have to juggle conferences in the midst of all the transportation issues. I wish there were ten of me!

dashook now that you mention it, it does seem to be dragging. babyw15 lo's big gift thus year is either going to be an easel or a play kitchen. We have both because I found great deals, but haven't decided which one will be for birthday or xmas. We do the 4 things for xmas and birthday: something you want, something you need, something to wear and something to read. Plus an extra Santa gift for Xmas. ourcrazynavylife I was debating about those balance bikes too. BabyStandish sounds like a good afternoon for a nap. I know what you mean about cleaning though. My house needs it baaaad. littlelion glad you got caught up on sleep! kcrus hope you're feeling better lady! I use an app to track my period called woman log (the name makes me cringe lol), I'm just super lazy about updating it. It's pretty basic though, I'll have to check the one out you recommended.

We have somehow become the people that wait for the garbage truck at the end of the driveway. As soon as lo hears it, he lights up and runs to the door. It made his whole morning. We went and got his Build a Bear stuffed. His menagerie in his crib is a little out of control, but he's happy. Lo's favorite part at the mall was the escalators. We had to go up and down several times. Just got a Christmas picture session booked with our photographer. I swear, the fall fills up so fast!
For Christmas/Chanukah I have already started ordering stuff from Amazon. Normally I would not do it so early but with a due date near Thanksgiving this year I just feel like it's something I want to get over with.
babyw15 I'm getting DS books and puzzles, and other small things he can open each night of Chanukah (sticker book, plastic "grocery" toys, a Thomas train, etc.). His big present this year will be a full sized train table for his big boy room.
I'm not really convinced I need to buy anything for LO (who will only be ~5 weeks old) but I picked up some token stuff (like stacking rings) anyway just so DS will see that Santa came for them both.
Pretty sure our families are getting gift cards. I'm making sure the cards are for specific, special places that are near where they live and that I know they like going so hopefully it won't be too impersonal. But I'm damned if I'm going to be spending hours at the post office with a newborn in tow to be mailing parcels!
Hi all! I've been missing this place lately but I am seriously overwhelmed at work. I agreed to transfer from first grade to a kindergarten/first grade multiage classroom this year and OMG why did I do that?! I'm seriously drowning. Tomorrow is parent night and that makes me so anxious. Can't wait to get that over with and maybe be able to do things like check in here again! All the toddlers are adorable. Trying to catch up on posts. I, for one, cannot believe how big my baby is these days
ourcrazynavylife she's adorable. BabyStandish cleaning has been last on the priorities lately. dashook I can't believe you're due date is coming up so quickly! How do you feel? babyw15 we booked Disney for February! I'm soooo excited. Glad the wedding was great! littlelion how are you feeling these days? kcrus I don't know how you do it girl! I can't function with ONE!
sgio7485, oh my goodness, he is so cute! And definitely looks like a big boy. My little guy is killing me lately with how big he's getting. Just looking at pics from June, I hardly recognize him because he has grown and changed so much!
And I'm feeling good, thanks! Excited to be getting close but sort of overwhelmed with how much there is to do between now and November, and I'm at the point where my back kills if I try to do too much. So I'm just trying to let myself relax when I can!
